Not only was the hotel amazing but the owners were fantastic!! Aparently they bought it a year ago ago and have brought it very far!! We arrived Friday morning knowing we could not check in yet so we asked if we could park and go on the beach until our room was ready. Very accommodating and the the owners said absolutely. We were on the beach 30 minutes before we got a text telling us our room was ready. We enjoyed our time on the beach a while longer and then made our way to the office around 2pm. Unloaded the car and went to our room. The room was a mess. The fridge was in front of the bathroom, towels on the floor. We were confused. I went to the office. It was a mistake for us to be able to check in early do to maintenence needed in our room which happens. They had to replace the fridge. The owners we ever so apologetic. We went to the Crest Tavern for a cocktail and appetizer and in an hour the room was perfect. We now have our go to get away. We absolutely enjoyed everything about the coliseum EXCEPT the restaurant. We are hoping they choose another vendor for their restaurant m they are terrible. Dirty, cannot get orders correct, food is gross, shakes are more like chocolate milk etc..

Oceanfront property. Get a 2nd floor room to see the ocean. 3rd floor also has a beautiful view, but it's one more flight carrying luggage. Little motel perfect for the pricepoint. Nothing fancy. Chairs in front of room overlooking balcony to the ocean. Extra chairs at the ocean end of the building. Lots of chaise loungechairs at pool. There is a shower at the head of the path to walk through dunes. The beach isn't nearly as wide here as others in Wildwood. Perfect distance - generous, but not a country mile. Ocean was nicely calm in the mornings. Beach volleyball net next to motel. Walkway to beach making it an easy walk. Cape May is super close. Don't get that far, and not see this little gem.

An elevator would be nice. There is no closet - just a hanging bracket on the wall. The main window in the kitchen did not open. I was there off season in mid-September. I wouldn't expect anything else. But during the season, hired muscle would be helpful with luggage up and down the steps. My only other recommendation would be for cushions for the outdoor chairs.

First of all, the location was absolutely lovely. We were able to check in a little early which was absolutely fabulous. Kudos to the hotel for that one! Walking into our room it was bright and clean and I can tell that they were recently updated which is coming along great! The pool was warm which was so welcoming when entering from the cool ocean breeze that you can see from just the deck above that had 2 grills and two tables to sit at and enjoy. The hotel staff were awesome. We enjoyed the pizza shop down below, and even they were awesome! The older reviews DO NOT represent what it is now, and we were so relieved. The rooms we slept great in because the AC really drowned out the noise and we were there for 4th of July week. Towels were replenished every morning, and anything we needed help with or more of we were taken care of. Great 1st Impression!

There's not much to say but I could say what they could improve on.. I know there are new beds and mattresses, but they are not made for comfort.. the pull out bed was more comfy. Leaving the pool open a little later for adults after 8... ? Kids (ours included) really took over the pool with toys up until closing. Safety? Some of the railings were held together with duct tape and the integrity of them seemed a little iffy with people leaning on them. Parking.. it's tight but I'm not sure it's as horrible as some people made it out to be on reviews..It's free!!! 3rd floor with no elevator sucked a little but it was manageable because my boys did the heavy lifting of the cooler. Idk if I could have by myself.

Perfect location for our interests, Cape May & Wildwood boardwalk. Beach easy access with boardwalk across very large beach! Family-friendly, comfortable & clean, attractive. Kitchenette was a God-send! Cafe on site was very convenient.

Resort property is in the process of complete renovation, so our little suite's kitchen appliances were in need of replacement, but they worked fine. No paper products in kitchen (some filters for coffee maker were provided. Parking a little tight but seemed to accommodate all. Maybe have an ice machine on each floor?

We loved the location to the beach, of course, and it was on a quiet street. We appreciated the little balcony areas where we could chill outside of our rooms. Our room was very clean, which says a lot!

The parking spots were a little too tight for our liking and sometimes they were full. The air conditioner in our room was finicky and we'd wake up sweating. The pizza shop that is attached needs to be upgraded and improved - it could be such a plus on the property!

location was great. the little diner at the location was great. breakfast was fabulous and having ice cream at night perfect. parking was very very very tight. one day we had 2 suv's parked along side of us and we couldnt even get into our vehicle. however the staff was great. for the price it was worth every penny.

outside needed to be powerwashed.. steps and walkway were dirty just from people coming from the beach. sandy but yet dirty. doors on rooms need to be painted for appearance sake. however rooms were very clean

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for visiting the beach.

The parking was tight and we were only allowed one car for 2 couples. Also, the pool was in need of better care as there was a lot of sand build up and some trash left in the water. The public restroom also was in need of a cleaning.

The owner was super great, took care of everything so quickly and was super nice. He accommodated us the moment we said something and gave extraordinary and prompt results.

The pillows and bed sizes but other than that great everything!

Very close to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Loved the balcony lounge area overlooking the beach.

The parking was a little tight with our vehicle, but we made it work.
