A unique experience. The overall 50’s there is a very clever idea and everything about Summer Nights gave a true feeling of the 50’s. Shiela the owner/hostess was sensational with her hospitality, professionalism and personality. Everything from the jute boxes, the pinball machines, the soda machine, the old diner environment, the decorations and the individual room themes were authentic and unique. On top of the environment everything was free to use. Then Shiela goes out of her way to have a daily refreshment time everyday at 4pm where she served milkshakes and soft pretzels. All on the house. And to top it off she servers made to order breakfasts which included fruit parfaits, a muffin (which was a small loaf, warmed) and the main course. Each of these were simply amazing, large portions and made to perfection. And again free of charge. You asked what did I like. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. Shiela had a marvelous idea years ago and made it happen. She enjoys everything about running this unique place to stay. I recommend everyone to visit Shiela and enjoy what she has created. You’ll never experience anything like it anywhere you travel. Thanks Shiela

Absolutely nothing

The owner is onsite and super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding each day and she easily adapted for my husband’s Celiac disease with gluten free foods. The house is adorable and very nostalgic in decor while having updated facilities. AC in our room worked perfectly. Weirdly warm weekend in Nov in NJ but perfect anyways.

Bed was too soft for us but I’m sure others would love it depending on their bed at home. At our age, we prefer a firmer mattress. But comfy nonetheless.

Pretty much everything! The small details were so appreciated! Quarters every morning to use the juke box full of different 45s at breakfast, a photo at the end to remember the stay, recommendations of things to do and where to go, just everything!

The only complaint and it’s no fault of the owners is that the room was humid. This is a result of traveling in July to the beach. It’s inevitable. Just something to note.

Sheila Brown is the consumate host. Other than for one single night, we were the only guests of the B& B, but Sheila went all in and gave us 100% of her attention and service, despite having so much work to prepare for her own Thanksgiving celebration for 20 people, the day after we left. We had the pleasure of meeting Sheila's husband Rick, and of course we give big thanks again to Trudi for taking care of our room. Breakfast was fabulous, with something different on offering every morning. Sheila may say she does not like to cook, but don't be fool... oh boy, can she cook! And we enjoyed the chats and laughs so much every morning. The place is absolutely wonderful. Behind the white facade hide 8 bedrooms, each with their own theme, and beautiful murals. The amount of thoughtfulness that went into creating this perfect place is outstanding. The breakfast "diner" is right out of the 50's, with a full size jukebox, as well as one on each table, where Sheila supplies the quarters for guests to listen to music while enjoying breakfast; there is a Coke machine from that era too, that dispenses ice cold coka cola bottles, a pool table, a game room with pinball machines and a shuffle board bowling machine, as well as a comfy sitting room, where we would bring our crochet and book rather than sit in our bedroom, where we would later soak in our spa tub. The boardwalk is 2 blocks away, so we had an awesome time walking the beach and seawall. We also borrowed the B&B's bicycles for a pleasant ride. There are restaurants within walking distance, and Sheila's recommendations were spot on.

Everything. The property is beautiful and the theme based rooms from movies & tv are an experience by itself. Sheila, the owner, is an exceptional hostess. She goes out of her way to make sure guests are well cared for and is a great cook too. The breakfast was one of the best we had ever had, highly recommended and not to be missed. Thank you Sheila!

Summer Nites was great! The house is very nicely cared for and it is more like staying with family than staying at a hotel. Very easy walk to the boardwalk and beach. Breakfast is ready for you everyday on request and the owners and staff are helpful and friendly.

The owner(s) went out of their way to make sure our stay was EXCEPTIONAL. The location is perfect and the accommodations: room, dining room, activities - everything was just perfect.

Location great, a bit off the main road, but easy to get to attractions. They offered bikes to use to ride around town. Loved the vintage feel and the little extras were so great! A working old coke machine with free cokes! Breakfast was amazing, even though we couldn't stay for the entire feast, the banana bread might be the best I've ever tasted (I'm generally not a fan). The owner was so friendly. I have nothing negative to say about my stay there!!

Love the 50’s theme rooms and the cleanliness of the rooms.

We would have liked a larger shower and hooks to hang our clothes.

The breakfast was delicious. Everyday we had something new and it was great! The location was very convenient and only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. All in all I can see myself coming back later on in the future.

Sometimes the hot tub was a tad bit too hot lol but we still enjoyed it.
