The room was very clean. The office had reasonable hours that it was open

The rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Not a fan of the black paint for the pool. It came off on our skin and bathing suits. (Felt tar like).

Tough to find a room for a family of 6. Plenty of space in the bedrooms, pleny of pillows. Easy walk to beach and hotel next door has a restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Nice pool with olenty of seating/lounging.

Bathroom was small. Sofa bed in kitchen area, when open you can only use 1 side of kitchen table. No blinds in the kitchen, floor is a bit sloped. Blinds in front bedroom don't block out light to well. Front ac unit is at the top of wall, need to stand on chair to reach controls. A little outdated.

It was clean. Staff friendly. Warning Pickle ball courts across street. They start 8 am! We enjoyed watching them.

Pool was painted black to absorb the sun to heat water. Not good, very, very uninviting. No music allowed at all. A good distance from boardwalk but $3 Jitney made it better.

Location is good and definitely a good deal. Clean. I have stayed here before and it is a nice place.

Our particular room was in the corner of the second floor. I would ask not to have that room again. Room #20. One outlet strip that tripped when using microwave , because mini fridge was plugged into it.

This place was very great on price !Very close to the beach,you basically walk out the hotel and across the street your there, the pool was great ,very clean. The walk to the boardwalk brings you right where you can grab the tramcar or walk the boardwalk. I stayed for 4 days and Will stay here again!!! The staff was great from the ease of checking in, to the staff that every morning we saw them cleaning windows,changing sheets, vacuuming the rooms, and restocking the towels. The pool was spotless runs from 3ft -9ft and was great,it even has a 1ft section for the smaller kids. BBQ grills fully available for everyone just a great place to stay. And there was no noise, great night sleep each night. I would recommend the VIKING to everyone.

I can't say I didn't like anything, I liked this place. I have nothing negative to say.

Great property manager who is always available. The place was very clean, well-kept, spacious, partial view of the ocean, the balcony is entertaining being on the main Ocean Avenue street, nice pool area with grills for cooking.. and a breakfast restaurant you pass when walking to the beach.

The only thing we didn't like was the beds were very stiff, we also don't recall there being wifi.. all else was perfect and beyond expectations.

The location was excellent when we came down for a country music festival. The pool was excellent and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and available to provide any assistance and extra towels, TP, etc as needed. The property is as advertised and a good value for what was expected.

The ice machine was out of service the weekend we were in town. The beds are a little uncomfortable with little support. The shower alternated from freezing cold to boiling hot and there was poor water pressure at times.

Friendly housekeeper. Quiet. Pool was clean. Cute little kitchen.

Size of bathroom sink was tiny. Shower grout was moldy. Bathroom door was visibly brown by handle from dirty hands. Pretty sure soap and sponge would get that off. I didn’t watch any tv however the channel selection was extremely slim. I felt like I was watching a hotel tv from when I was a kid which was 35 years ago.
