This is the first time I have given a hotel a score of 10 and it is thoroughly deserved. The room was lovely and bright done out in a nautical theme in various shades of blue. Lovely comfy bed and large bathroom with full sized bath. The staff could not have been more helpful and gave me more information than I could have used in a week! Breakfast also available (at very reasonable price and with no addition charge for room service). Best of all the room had a black out blind as well as drapes to it was really dark once I put the lights out - quiet too despite being on the edge of the old port. Superb!!

Absolutely nothing

Nice location, with a view of the harbor from our window. The host was very helpful in ensuring that we enjoyed our visit to Cathedral beach (you have to go at low tide, which we had not been aware of).

The WiFi in our room on the 2nd floor was weak to the point of being unusable. Also took quite a while for hot water to get up there. Try to get a room on the first floor if these will be issues for you. Also, no access to coffee or tea in the morning until the restaurant opens at 8:30.

Lovely couple run this very clean and friendly little hotel. Lots of information and recommendations on arrival, and very helpful with bus information when we were trying to sort out our onwards transfer. We didn’t have breakfast included but chose to try the breakfast, it was excellent we couldn’t fault it, nice range of choices, the best of our stays so far on this trip

Nothing to dislike in the accommodation, just to note that the walk to centre of town although only short is very steep in places, but there are places to eat down at the harbour too.

We upgraded from a double standard to the top floor room and it was well worth it. The maritime theme of the hotel was a great touch and the room was very spacious and quiet, probably the largest bed we had on our trip. Also the staff was lovely and very helpful. The hotel is located just opposite a FREE public car park and only a short walk away from the town centre. There's a public lift located just next to the carpark if unable to walk up the steep roads into the centre.

Nothing except for quite a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom/drains

I injured myself while walking the Camino and booked here to recover. The owners there took excellent care of me and did everything they could so I could rest & recover. Really kind people. Besides that, the hotel itself is really nice. The rooms are clean and well equipped, they have an elevator and a nice bar. Breakfast also very good.

Aurora gave us very detailed and helpful explanations and tips about Ribadeo, its surrounding area, including the Ais Catedrais Beach, and the Indianos Festival, which helped us immensely in making the most of our visit. Our room had a small balcony from which you could admire the scenery and it was pleasantly decorated in a maritime style. We loved our breakfasts, expertly prepared by Israel, and will try to imitate them at home. We really enjoyed being in this hotel which had a very special, homely atmosphere and a superb location near the port.

I found our bed too hard.

The location is next to the Marina with good views to the river. Although not in the centre it is a very pleasant and relaxing location. It is a very small hotel so therefore limited facilities however this does not detract in any way. There are good restaurants on either side of the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

No negatives whatsoever

Quirky and colourful hotel. Interesting decor. Friendly and informative hosts. Good breakfast cooked to order. Great location and nice balcony sea view.

Only small negative was no air conditioning but wasn't too hot with windows open.

I've stayed every year since this lovely hotel was built, and it never ceases to please! Friendly welcoming owners that do everything to please. Hotel is beautifully designed and decorated in nautical theme. Spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained rooms. Lovely comfortable bed. Great shower! Fantastic location in the harbour. Excellent restaurants nearby. What more can one want :)

I couldn't stay longer :(

Its a nice eclectic boutique hotel parking is outside on street, great breakfast, nice staff

On 3rd floor it took over 5 mins for shower to get hot. I think older buildings have these issues, other than that all good
