We needed a place to stay this past Friday when we were traveling from central OH to northern IN and the snow storm hit hard making the roads too bad to continue our trip. The staff were very friendly when we rolled in at 11:30pm. The checkin process was quick so that we could all go rest after our stressful drive to that point. The room and bathroom smelled and appeared clean.

It’s definitely an older hotel. Baseboards are scuffed up. Walls could use paint. Our room didn’t have pictures in the walls but you could see hardware holes and an outline on the walls where pictures were previously hung. The smoke detector was also not connected, but rather laying on top of the microwave.

Check-in went very well. Friendly front desk staff. It is an older building that could use a splash of paint in a few locations but overall, it is clean and well kept. Our room was large and well equipped. Quiet room outside of an occasional hall door slam. Other than that, you could not hear others. Overall, this was a nice place to stay and we would stay here again if in the area.

The breakfast was a little weak but, in all fairness, we did get there 15 minutes before it closed. The waffles were good.

A little older hotel, but clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Staff was courteous- We overslept until noon, and they very graciously didn't charge us. We didn't sample the breakfast, obviously!

The walls do seem a bit thin, and people in the room above us could be heard clomping around throughout the night. The rear exterior door to the hallway remained unlocked even though there was a card key reader there.

Room was not luxurious but was clean and comfortable with a very good bed. Hotel is not far from downtown and is very close to some restaurants and shopping. The staff was very courteous and helped us with our requests for some items. The area seems safe to me Room was very decent, especially for the price.

The room had a very faint scent of cigarette smoke (from the previous guest?) that went away pretty quickly.. The free breakfast was adequate but lacked any meat.

The facility was well maintained, clean and in a nice location with restaurants within a walkable distance.

The hotel is home to several homeless people which I have no problem with. However, one elderly gentleman spent most of his day and night smoking by the front entrance and drinking beer. It was obvious that he was also smoking in the entry way when no one was around. The front desk staff also spent time smoking with him. This would be fine if they were a distance away from the front door but it was impossible to come and go without smelling stale smoke. Also, the outside door near my room did not lock. It was designed to open with a room key but anyone could come and go. This is a serious safety violation.

Location is quiet. Easy access. Staff was great. Rooms were clean.

Continental breakfast ran out with 30 minutes left on the schedule. It was not replenished, requiring us to go out for breakfast.

We were there as a runaway vacation. We just wanted to escape and have peace and quiet for downtime. Everything was within a short drive and great location.

It was a nice place. Little outdated but nice and comfortable. No swimming pool/hot tub and no elevator.

Had a good full breakfast available. Good value for purposes of my adventure.

Location alittle off the beaten path. Not many amenities in the area, though McDonalds and a hospital (if needed) within walking distance.

Kind, responsive staff. Fluffy, absorbent towels. Great waffles, nice coffee machine in the room with lots of coffee packets. Quiet surroundings and guests.

Need to offer more protein at breakfast. Could improve landscaping by using native plants.

Good place for the price. Rooms were clean. It was quiet. The beds were comfortable.

Our window was broken The phone kept flashing red.
