Good location away from the centre in a residential area with supermarkets, cafe and restaurants round the corner. Felt very safe. Owner was extremely helpful with initial directions, restaurant suggestions and suggestions for our trip to Amalfi and Positano. In fact he was very helpful with all aspects of our stay in Salerno. Nice guy. Bedroom was comfortable and spacious and bathroom had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

Lounge/ eating area - There was a fridge, microwave and coffee machine but no sink. It’s described on Booking.com as a B&B but no breakfast is provided.

The apartment is located in a great location close to the historic center. The apartment is clean, equipped with the necessary facilities. The owner is very hospitable and ready to help and provide all the necessary information and assistance. Parking is paid, but we had no problems finding a place. There are supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby.

It would be nice to have a kitchen in the apartment.

I had a very pleasant stay at B&B Primo Posto! Everything was clean and well maintained. The location is excellent – very close to the train station and the port, which was perfect for taking the ferry to Amalfi and Positano. Generoso, the host, was extremely kind and generous, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salerno!

The location was excellent for touring the towns along the Amalfi coast during the day but returning to Salerno in the evening for a relaxing dinner away from the crowds. The location within Salerno was also excellent. It was easy to walk to the port, train station and restaurants. There was also a supermarket nearby. The host was very helpful in advising us about our stay. The apartment was perfect for travelling with our 4 month old baby.

The bed could have been a little more comfortable

We enjoyed everything about our stay in Primo Plato B&B and Salerno, starting with a warm welcome from host Geni who provided great tips, from local restaurants to ferry connections to Amalfi. The apartment is artfully decorated with great style. Is has a living room with fridge, cups/plates/cutlery/coffee, an airconditioned bedroom with great bed and ensuite bathroom with great shower. It has a supermarket around the corner and is a 15-minute walk to train station and beach. After being in Napels we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Salerno. It’s a great base to enjoy the Amalfi coast with ferry and bus connections and very reasonably priced. Also it serves as a great transportation hub (by train) further south. No doubt we would stay here again!

Place is cozy, nicely decorated and bathroom is clean & newly done. Train station, shopping places and restaurants are all in walking distance .Geny is so helpful and an excellent host. Without asking he provided the list of events in town like “medieval festival” etc. He is always willing to help in solving problems even not related to the B&B.

All was good.

Genni is the best host our family has ever met. He was so helpful with offering suggestions and recommendations. The apartment is located about 10 minutes from the Main Street and is very tastefully decorated. Our stay was amazing and we could’ve have asked for a better place or a better host.

The design, the attention to every detail and above all the hospitality and availability of the host. The area where the apartment is situated is safe and not far from the old centre

We loved the accommodation in Salerno and also loved the town. Our host was very helpful, spoke very good English and all his recommendations were terrific. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really although the park across the road was a little noisy at night.

The apartment is spacious, quiet, and in an ideal location. Geni was a gracious host who met us at the apartment and gave us recommendations. He was quick to reply to messages during the trip. Highly recommend!
