Location great, breakfast brilliant, Angela made coffee and eggs however we liked. So much food to pick from. Angela was very helpful when I had left my phone on the bus with our booking confirmation- she met us at the property to let us in and gave us directions to the bus terminal. Lots of helpful information on places to visit and transport. Angela made our bed and tidied room/bathroom every day which was unexpected and very nice.

The toilet was not as clean as it could have been, the toilet bowl was clean upon first look but the back at the top could have done with more cleaning. Also the bedroom doors throughout the b&b were very loud closing and could hear every time someone came in and out as they banged- perhaps these could need looking at so see if there are noise excluders which could be added or perhaps need re-fitting. Could hear guests in the breakfast room from our bedroom as the doors are not sound proof.

I'd say this was the best place I've ever stayed from booking. The host was AMAZING, she went the extra mile, she always answeared my messages regarding several topics, she gave me lots of recomandations about the things we can do around or tips and tricks. Also, she was very helpful, funny and was very sympathetic. She prepped a snack for us giving the fact we were missing the breakfast so we can have something to eat on our early journey. Not everyone would do that. I'd recommend Angela to everyone who wants to go to Salerno. The room was clean, the shower is very big and we had everything we needed. The bad was incredible, we slept like babies. 10+++++ /10. Kisses from Romania to Angela.

There is no negative thing that I can say about this host / guesthouse.

Angela is a terrific host. She really cares about helping her visitors and goes above and beyond most hosts. Her breakfasts and homemade cakes are a very nice touch. There are places in the rooms to hold luggage for two. That isn't always the case and we appreciated it. She has thought of everything for her guests and she is a smart, kind host. The air conditioning works like a charm. Thanks for your hard work and kindness, Angela!

We're older so it is always a bit of a challenge to be in accommodations with a step down into the room or up to the bathroom. When the light in the bathroom is on, the fan is on and its loud, which is OK if you have a silent fan, but in our room, it was not. There is no nightlight in the bathroom - no biggie but something to consider when there are awkward steps to be aware of. The bed is a bit hard for our tastes, but again that might be our age and we found that in many places around Italy. Angela is still growing her business and I'm sure these small details will be resolved.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Angela is a fantastic host! The breakfast provided was outstanding - everything you could possibly want to start the day. The home made apple cake is delicious! Coffee made to order. Angela was a fantastic help as we were travelling from Salerno to Amalfi and our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather. She checked the ferry website for us and helped us with the bus timetable to Amalfi. There was also a bus strike! Angela advised us to go to the bus terminal - great advice as the bus did arrive and it was empty. We made it to Amalfi! Thank you very much Angela 😀

Angela is an amazing hostess, we had so much fun speaking with her at breakfast, and the breakfast she provides is unbelievable, quite outstanding! The room itself within her property was lovely, comfortable, quiet, and absolutely spotless. Even though we were only there for an overnight stay, I can't recommend this place highly enough, it was a favorite of ours while on our 3-week trip in Italy, during which we stayed at 10 different places across the vicinity of Rome, and Sicily (besides Salerno, which we already loved). We were happy to find such a great place within walking distance of the train station, the Lungomare, and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay again if we ever are in Salerno in the future!!

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at Holiday Guesthouse Salerno!

Everything was perfect: the location, the room, the breakfast and the host! You can reach city center, beach, bus/train station by walking. Pleasant and quiet area. Very spacious room and bathroom, everything nicely decorated. No bad surprise. Delicious breakfast with home made cakes and Angela the host is a beautiful lady at all level. So professional and kind hearted. She really sincerely cares about her guests so they have a pleasant stay. My daughter is vegan and she made sure she had something to eat and drink and recommended places to go. Easy check-in and out!

Angela is incredibly warm and welcoming. She is always eager to help and goes out of her way to assist. Every morning, she prepares a diverse and delicious breakfast, making the stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here—it's a wonderful experience you won’t regret!

The best thing about Holiday Guesthouse was the hostess. Angela is laughing & kind, she speaks good english, she gave us great tips, baked our breakfast pies herself, she even had a small surprise for me on my birthday! The location of the hotel was also exceptional, walking distance from everything. What else, breakfast was plentiful and fresh made, the room was super clean, the bed was comfortable. All in all, a great experience. If we ever come back to Salerno, or if a friend comes, we are sure to check availability here first. Thank you Angela!

We were very pleased with the location of Holiday House as we easily walked from the train station & returned the next morning on foot. Restaurants were a very easy walk as well. Angela was very communicative, easy to connect with via WhatsApp and very thorough with check in details and information. She provided a very impressive breakfast with a nice variety of fruit, pastries, yogurt, cold cuts & choice of hot & cold beverages. Our room was very clean, comfortable with updated decor including the modern bathroom. We were impressed that although not a large room, it was arranged to accommodate our needs very nicely including the hot water pot, ample hanging clothes space & very comfortable bed. (The most comfortable bed in our 2 week stay in Italy!)

the room and common areas were even nicer than they appeared in the pictures and our host Angela was really welcoming and helpful - she even spotted us coming up the road behind the house (looking a bit lost) and guided us in.

the only downside was that our neighbours were either very loud or the internal walls a little thin. Thankfully they didn't stay up late so not disruptive really.
