Nestled in a nice spot on the Carso mountain, not far from Trieste, it offers an outdoor swimming pool, not very large in side, still very pleasant. I did not try the spa, but the impression of relax and tranquillity was already achieved. The real strength of the hotel is the fine resturant. About my room I liked the bathroom. Staff smiling and helpful. Italian and English spoken. Breakfast with both large choice and top quality products, just a pity I could not fully enjoy after the gargantuesque dinner the evening before.

Room furniture is perhaps too classical. Fares are fair, but out of saving area, especially if you consider eating at the restaurant.

Very good hotel. Slightly more old-fashioned, but decent rooms. We were therefore in the old part (there is also a new building). Breakfast was excellent. Rarely had such a good breakfast. Nothing to complain about. The restaurant was also very decent, nice value for money. Ideal for fish lovers, but also for people who like to eat pasta or can enjoy a schnitzel.

The pool was fine, but was somewhat ruined by noisy Italians who felt it necessary to try a flip every 5 seconds. Not really nice to read your book there. Addressing them didn't help and personally I thought the hotel staff could be a bit stricter.

The staff is extremely polite and helpful. To them, goes the biggest appreciation. The view is very beautiful, in the middle of nature and in a totally silent environement. The hotel is strongly recommended for quietness, silence and comfort. Rooms are big and clean. The hotel has very good traditional, old restaurant, The breakfast is above the level of most of hotels, with fresh products of the territory. Small, but quiet and relaxing pool.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast room was magnificent, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made every morning special. Our room was huge and offered a breathtaking view — it was simply perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return!

The deluxe wing, the location of our rooms, was new, clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of an amazing choice of cooked, continental and fruit. The pool was warm and clean with good views over the countryside. The staff were helpful and polite Near to wine region.

The coffee machine in the room was 2 euros a cup - no complementary tea/drinks. The restaurant when we were there, was empty so we ate elsewhere.

The restaurant was closed and even if this facility is included in the description on Booking, we were not informed about it when we made the reservation. We had a long trip from Italy and we made the reservation especially considering that we can have the dinner in the location when we arrive. So, after our 10 hours drive, we had to get in the car again to go to Sezana and have a pizza in the only location that served us without reservation....

The breakfast was excellent I was able to order egg of a variety of my choice which was omelette which was delicious. The variety of food was very good including sparkling wine for breakfast. Your used plates were taken away quickly and orange juice or other beverage inc sparkling wine were waiter service all good. Our room was excellent large shower room etc lovely fluffy towels etc.. we had 1 of only 2 large superior rooms with a balcony that over looked the swimming pool which we used.There was a restaurant which was excellent they also gave you a 10% discount voucher the food was amazing . Excellent parking towels available for the swimming pool for a deposit of €20 which was understandable.

Very charming hotel, staff were lovely and breakfast was best we’ve ever had in a hotel. Pool was as great. All v clean. The local wine served is delicious.

The restaurant is quite formal and pricey, didn’t suit us but we were recommended a fab local one a few mins drive.

All in all great value for money. Slept in the new building of the hotel. One of the best included breakfast in all time, super comfortable bed, friendly stuff at the buffet, well located behind Triest for travellers. Small garage for motorcycles.

At the reception the staff's reaction time was slow, maybe they are understaffed. Close to the Hotel there's no Restaurant (Except the Hotels one) and other shops. Next ones are 35 minutes by foot. You definately need a car

Huge rooms, comfortable beds, Excellent breakfast and very reasonable price.

The decorations of the room was appalling, to our taste. but this did not take away much of our enjoyment of the stay. Sometimes the staff was a bit gruff.
