This was my third stay at President and I appreciate the room size and location of the hotel (short walk to Mito station). Usually cheaper than other similar options or much smaller room. The staff offers good service and the rooms are clean although not modern by any standard.

Unfortunately this time I got a smoking room and although not totally overbearing, the smell took time to get used to… Restaurant on 12th floor only take reservations, even if they could certainly accommodate 1 extra person on a not so busy week day…

Good value hotel well located close to the JR Station, Kōdōkan, castle, shops and eateries. 2.5 km walk to Kairakuen. I had a spacious corner room with city views. As well as the comfortable bed there was a large desk, lounge & 2 chairs, small table, small tv, fridge, ample storage. There wasn’t a safe. Good bathroom bench space and nice long bath; basics like combs and razors available in the lobby. Pleasant and convenient!

The hotel offers clean large rooms (23 m2) and a full size bath, which is very good for a longer stay. Walking the 200m distance from Mito station is well worth compared to smaller/more expensive closer options in Mito. Staff even changed my reservation to a non-smoking room after inquiring if possible. Overall a very good 12 night stay.

Being a little bit away from the main shopping area the hotel has a Chinese restaurant on the 12th floor. However it didn’t appear to be fully opened (restricted hours) so wasn’t able to dine there on a couple of occasions…

Its very close to Mito station and there’s 7E right next to the hotel. Room was spacious and clean with complete amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful too

A classic Western Style Hotel with very competent staff, nice rooms (we had a spacious Deluxe Twin Room) and a brillant Chinese restaurant.

Nothing. Everything was agreeable

So big room compare with the other hotels in same level in Japan

Only one thing need improvment, the window can not open so that's a mess for smoking room even provided the air cleaner.

Location is close to train station. Quite.

Strong smell of cigarette in the corridor. Breakfast a bit simple. Bed is a bit small.

Desk staff spoke english. And they gave me an umbrella, didnt expect rain. Easy walk from north JR exit.

Room was big and tidy. Frankly speaking, was beyond my expectation. Convenience store, bars and parking spaces nearby, very convenient.

Nothing really annoying during my stay.

Lovely hotel in a great location. It's close enough to the train station to be convenient but far enough away not to have an issue with crowd noise. I booked a single room but it had a double bed and a spacious seating area. It was really comfortable, The staff were professional and efficient. Would stay again and do recommend.

Don't be put off by the outside appearance of the hotel building. From the lobby to the rooms, this is a nice, good value hotel.
