The location was perfect. Right in the middle of downtown Silver Spring. Near all the shops and restaurants The room was big enough. Very clean.. The staff are very friendly. Great breakfast options.

The cost of parking and also the bathroom needed renovation. The toilet are old and need some TLC. A little more renovation will make this hotel a top notched Hotel.

The location is everything

The staff and security at night is totally different than what you get in the day time. Security was a older guy you can tell tes his job to serious should have been a sergeant or police officer after telling a customer or guest where things was once they left he cussed them out and the desk personnel laughed felt like I was next to be laughed at the front door locks and needs your key card to open it security will watch you pull the door a billion times before say dam use the dam key card or something nasty everybody doesn’t read I get that but not everybody needs a job either especially with the public just so nasty and rude called some one a SE person from they appearance you can tell he never met his Match yet that’s all.

I love that for a reasonable price, I could get a suite with a bedroom and a separate living room (with sofa bed). Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. The location was very convenient and felt safe. I should also mention that the reception staff as well as housekeeping personnel were exceptionally nice.

Our keys kept failing and new keycards had to be made frequently, even when we were careful not to put them next to phones.

Room was as expected: functional but comfortable, clean, minimal frills. I wish the room had a microwave, but there was one in the lobby's shop we were able to use which was perfectly fine! Staff were helpful and kind. Valet parking for $30/night would be steep normally but given the cost of the room, I felt it was reasonable, especially given the valet staff were available even after my work ended at 2 AM!

Re: valet staff, the only feedback I have would be to put up a sign or list number to text if the staff aren't actively in the receiving area due to it being after standard business hours. I waited for 10 minutes when I returned after work at 2 AM; I checked in the lobby and found out the staff sometimes chill there after standard working hours. I totally respect that, but some kind of indicator of what to do after hours would have been helpful.

It’s in the heart of everything! Walking distance to all kind of shopping and food places. Used to be double tree & some of the staff then is still there so we’ve been coming here for years. Everyone’s always been very welcoming. Generally very quiet at the hotel too.

I do think there could be some upgrades to the rooms. Used to be Double Tree by Hilton before covid but you can tell since the switch the decor is now ran down & out dated.

It’s a great value for the money. This is an older hotel, but it is in a good shape, especially compared with other hotels at this price point. The location is good if you need to travel to DC and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms have almost everything you need and are kept reasonably clean, although housekeeping won’t come to your room unless you request it (it’s becoming the norm in the US)

The room keys are very sensitive and easily get deactivated if you put them with your phone or wallet. The walls are somewhat thin and you can hear other guests talking loudly or listening to music. While the staff is usually friendly, they tend to be very busy, so you might have to wait if you want to talk to someone at the front desk.

Very comfortable and easy to get around made my first trip to the area enjoyable and safe. The room was large, clean and accessible to get to.

I did not have to use the parking area but that would have been an extra cost that I'm not used to. Easier access for good hot coffee before going out, or a continental breakfast could have been better for early mornings. Room coffee is not always someone's boost of energy needed for the day!

The staff! All of them were friendly and very helpful!! They took time to relate to me which showed they cared for the guests. My keycard didn’t work the first night ; and Buddy fixed it immediately by putting in a new battery.

Well…..I never got my room cleaned on Saturday so I did not leave a tip which I was prepared to do. I had to ask for clean towels, made the bed myself. I was gone all day through 10 pm. I did not appreciate that I could not pay with cash for breakfast and snacks. I would have liked self parking.

The location was amazing, in the middle of the city, walking distance to shops and the subway that took us to DC in less than 20 minutes. The hotel was very clean and the room was HUGE! Amazing staff too Over all a great experience.

No breakfast, no laundry facilities(not even close by), no microwave in the room. Everything was very outdated and in need of renovations, it says 4 star here but I am not sure it is correct. The walls were paper thin, I could hear the people in the next room watch TV and talk.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Overall it was quiet and restful. The location was great, with all sorts of restaurants within walking distance. It was also only a block from the medical office where we had a procedure scheduled for the next day.

The HVAC would not warm up the room on a wet and cool night. The windows were cloudy; either needing to be cleaned or replaced. The hotel restaurants were not open, so it seemed a bit deserted. The bathroom was rather small (old style hotel, but well maintained) and the toilet was a loud pressure flush type.
