The room was spacious, beds comfortable, in room kitchen facilities ample. Our room was quiet. The breakfast was fine, with plenty of choices but availability ends early for vacationers: 9am. Absolutely wonderful location, close to all the sites. Next door restaurant is GREAT, such a bonus to have exceptional food close by, El BEBE.

Uppity, unfriendly night time receptionist who was stingy with information. The rest of the staff were nice. The furniture (not the beds) in the rooms was very uncomfortable, I think the springs must be worn out, the couch sags toward the middle.

Adequate breakfast enough variety. Food staff were very nice and helpful. Well equipped kitchen Due to the hotel being overbooked we were moved to another hotel for our first night, they paid for that night which was a nice way to make up for the inconvenience of having to move hotels.

I found the desk staff not overly friendly. When we arrived the first morning the gentleman at the desk was abrupt and told us they were overbooked and no rooms were ready. We expected to have to check our bags however he was not courteous. When we came back at 4:30 the woman at the desk was also abrupt when she said the room wasn’t ready. We sat in the lobby and waited.

We travel to see a Nationals game several times a year and typically stay at another hotel a few doors down but decided (by force 🤪) to stay at Residence this time and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was amazing and super clean! ALL staff, regardless of title or role, were fabulous and polite! The hotel is pet friendly so doggo was treated like a King and was spoiled. Property, location, amenities, etc were all point! We’ll be back for sure

I don’t believe there was anything that we didn’t like accept possibly selfishly and uppity wishing for a rooftop pool, bar, or lounge…Lol!

Breakfast was good, liked the location...close to Nationals Stadium, plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.

I booked and confirmed a King suite but we were given 2 queens. When I asked about this, the girl at the check-in stated the change was made before she came on duty and didn't have an answer. She suggested we call management. The room we had was very comfortable considering it was not what we booked.

Brilliant hotel, spacious room with street view. Staff was also very helpful. Location is ideal, only 2 minutes walk from a metro station that can take you to the National Mall. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The noise from the street was a bit loud in the evenings. The breakfast was great, but the breakfast options were limited. Overall, not huge issues at all.

Breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of selections. Room was clean and was provided with kitchenette, ,e.g. pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. The hotel is located right above Navy Yard metro station. Even though Google/Apple maps show the station is across the screen but there is actually an entrance/exit right behind the hotel. So to get to it, you exit out the hotel, make a left, and go around the block and you'll see it. So it's just another way to get to the station if you don't want to cross the street.

Don't really have any particular negative, but it would've been nice if there were more restaurant options in the area. Also, there is no ice machine, but I suppose you could make ice from the fridge in the room.

The staff was very nice, breakfast was good but it didn't have any bread, only bagles and english muffins. The location was great. The only thing I can complain is very minor, but breakfast hours, at least on weekdays was from 6am ro 9am, I understand that it is weekdays, but when you are on vacation a little bir longer can be needed. It could be at least up until 9.30am

The customer service of each of the front desk personnel, street lobby personnel , the excellent breakfast!

Update the coffee maker to a kerig for pods

I loved the front desk Qua I’d so professional and the others too. Helped me w everything and so friendly welcoming! Loved it! Room was beautiful and clean. It was very spacious. I loved having the kitchen to make food in or heat up leftovers. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They let us check in early, and it was extremely close to Nationals stadium where our concert was being held.

Breakfast could be available a little longer, maybe until 10am.
