The attention to detail and the warm hospitality of the staff made my stay truly exceptional. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious experience. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. They were not only professional but genuinely friendly, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. Their knowledge of the local area was impressive, providing excellent recommendations for dining and activities. Overall, our stay at InterContinental Washington DC exceeded all expectations. The combination of the stunning property, world-class facilities, and outstanding staff made for an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

The location is phenomenal, it's close to restaurants, walking distance for events, close to all major attractions. Great for site seeing and taking walks, get on boats and take a tour of the Potomac river. If you love taking pictures this is the ideal location. The hotel staff, valet, security, rooms were all exceptional and made sure your stay was pleasing.

Location is great within the Wharf. Staff was incredibly kinda and welcoming (including the door men). Room was great and the request put in my notes upon booking were looked at an actioned (thank you!). This hotel is clean and a great place to stay. I'm a member of the Hyatt and Marriot and this doesn't often happen. Roof top pool - Wow! Can't wait to to come back. I also appreciated the house keeping text of Y/N housekeeping and time requested for this.

My hotel door of room 713 did not shut automatically. The first night I slept I realized the next morning it was still open. Might be worth looking into.

Location, beds were comfortable, beautiful hotel, valet, spacious rooms, decor, quiet, great views, allowed early check in

Unsolicited charges for mini-fridge items that were not taken, was told at time of booking a month prior as well as at check in that I had late check out but 20 minutes prior to original check out time of 11am, was told it was no longer available because they were fully booked & I would have to pay a fee for more time.

Great stay. Very friendly staff. Good to have pool especially as it was so hot in Washington though it is more of a dip pool than one for swimming. Gym is great and bar was also good. Busy at breakfast but food good and easily fit within our 40 dollar pp allowance plus coffee was good. Wharf provides excellent choice of restaurants and easy water taxi access

We had a view of the alley archway, it was actually very beautiful, kids loved it. Each staff member I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the little extra time on our checkout day to pack and the option they provided to hold our bags while we walked around for the last time. Absolutely no complaints about our stay.

No umbrella or shades by the pool. In the July heat we couldn't stay out for too long, but we made the most of it. The view was amazing!

Location by the water is great, the pool is nice too. Room was quite spacious. Generally a very nice stay.

The only thing was that the breakfast could be better (was very average in terms of food quality). Fortunately, there is a French place in the same building where you can get better breakfast so this wasn’t too much of a problem.

Fantastic location right by the water which was lovely after a day exploring the city. Also close to lots of restaurants as well as a CVS which was handy. Excellent breakfast with great choice and a good allowance within the booking. Large room and bathroom in a quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Converge was not available 7-9 am to help me arrange transportation and bit available after 5 . Front desk staff not knowledgeable about transportation , renting bikes , free shuttle. Need training. They were nice though

Excellent front counter reception staff who made both check in and check out smooth and assisted with valet parking. Very helpful and regularly checked in with us to see how things were going and if they could provide any other assistance. So delighted that they found a lost item that was personally important and treasured.
