Adequate breakfast enough variety. Food staff were very nice and helpful. Well equipped kitchen Due to the hotel being overbooked we were moved to another hotel for our first night, they paid for that night which was a nice way to make up for the inconvenience of having to move hotels.

I found the desk staff not overly friendly. When we arrived the first morning the gentleman at the desk was abrupt and told us they were overbooked and no rooms were ready. We expected to have to check our bags however he was not courteous. When we came back at 4:30 the woman at the desk was also abrupt when she said the room wasn’t ready. We sat in the lobby and waited.

We travel to see a Nationals game several times a year and typically stay at another hotel a few doors down but decided (by force 🤪) to stay at Residence this time and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was amazing and super clean! ALL staff, regardless of title or role, were fabulous and polite! The hotel is pet friendly so doggo was treated like a King and was spoiled. Property, location, amenities, etc were all point! We’ll be back for sure

I don’t believe there was anything that we didn’t like accept possibly selfishly and uppity wishing for a rooftop pool, bar, or lounge…Lol!

Breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of selections. Room was clean and was provided with kitchenette, ,e.g. pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. The hotel is located right above Navy Yard metro station. Even though Google/Apple maps show the station is across the screen but there is actually an entrance/exit right behind the hotel. So to get to it, you exit out the hotel, make a left, and go around the block and you'll see it. So it's just another way to get to the station if you don't want to cross the street.

Don't really have any particular negative, but it would've been nice if there were more restaurant options in the area. Also, there is no ice machine, but I suppose you could make ice from the fridge in the room.

The staff was very nice, breakfast was good but it didn't have any bread, only bagles and english muffins. The location was great. The only thing I can complain is very minor, but breakfast hours, at least on weekdays was from 6am ro 9am, I understand that it is weekdays, but when you are on vacation a little bir longer can be needed. It could be at least up until 9.30am

The customer service of each of the front desk personnel, street lobby personnel , the excellent breakfast!

Update the coffee maker to a kerig for pods

I loved the front desk Qua I’d so professional and the others too. Helped me w everything and so friendly welcoming! Loved it! Room was beautiful and clean. The rooms were a good size. The location is in the Navy Yards area, with lots of restaurants and bars. There is also a nearby subway station with easy access to the main sites. We brought our dog and there were nearby bars which allowed dogs indoors so overall very happy with the location.

No issues

Location of hotel was great. Close to other areas of interest & metrorail. Surrounding area was quite, clean & safe to walk about in. Breakfast offerings were great. My family liked the fact that there were different items each day. Food was good.

Cost of parking. Wish that could have been cheaper or discounted for number of days at the hotel. Otherwise, it was nice to know the vehicle was secured in a location.

I loved the staff's accommodation, they were very nice and always willing to help. I asked for an additional day and later checkout, which they were able to comply with. They truly were beyond amazing.

Nothing, the location was perfect. I truly cannot find anything I found wrong with the location or the facilities. This was an amazing stay.

Had a nice stay even though it was just for 1 night. Hotel is exactly what we wanted. Location to everything was great. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was pretty good too. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The only thing I can think of that I didn’t like is the price of parking. Sixty seven dollars to park my truck for one night is outrageous I may consider another place with cheaper parking next time I come to DC
