Everyone was super nice and professional. My room was neat and clean. The lobby was spotless! I was very impressed by the dove products in the bathroom. Everything smelled so good and is actually the products I use at home. Anything I asked for I received promptly (cups, towels, washcloths, etc.). The breakfast every morning was a definite plus!!

Sunday morning, when I ate breakfast, there was a long curly hair in my food, and my milk was spoiled. I didn't even bother to complain as I was on my way checking out and in such a great mood. I noticed the ladies bringing out the food didn't have on hair nets. So if anything at all, I'd ask that the kitchen staff wear hair nets while in the kitchen.

The room was clean and comfortable. All of the facilities and equipment were fully operational. The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

One, out of the two total treadmill, was not working. Still was able to use the one remaining treadmill, so not a big deal. It would be nice to have more than one coffee dispenser available. They only had one smaller coffee dispenser when I was at their breakfast. Not a big concern--just a suggestion is all...

Nice hotel. Location was close to a metro station to get into DC. Good Breakfest to start a morning without having to find something.

If you need wi-fi I hope you have better luck then I had, got on for a couple of seconds and then lost it. They have a number you can call for problems and of course when talking to someone you can hardly understand it came up until I hung up the phone and wasn't going through it again. But then again it kept me off the computer for 3 days

Front desk staff was very friendly and professional continually checking in to make sure everything was okay. Front desk manager was very accommodating canceling one of my bookings for a friend at no charge due to an emergency. The room was very nice and clean the bed very comfortable. Was glad all my friends were able to stay on the same floor just a few doors down from each other.

Staff service, hotel cleanliness and breakfast was ok.

Hotel policy in early check-in. Prices were high. Not the staff fault, I guess. We got there really early in the morning coming from Toronto as our trip plans changed. I called before arriving to ask and was told there's a $50 early check-in fee. But when we arrived, the prices, depending on time, were actually $100, 75 or the $50 is only at @ 11am. We had to be somewhere for 8am that day so because of the high charges, and having paid 400+ for a 2night stay, we were just forced to sleep in our car outside the hotel and changed in the car for our appointment and came back at 10am and waited for the allowed check-in time at 3pm. Only thing I appreciate is the staff on duty was nice enough to let us in after 2pm.

We needed to book a one night stay in the area for an equestrian event. Although initially concerned after reading mixed reviews on this property, we were pleasantly surprised all around! Check-in was smooth. Ample parking. Our room was very, very clean. Beds comfortable. All staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was simple and tasty. The woman tending to the breakfast was excellent. She kept items replenished and the whole area neat and clean.

Both key cards to our room did not work. Fortunately housekeeping and maintenance noticed we were having an issue and kindly offered to help. They returned with working cards, saving us a trip back to the front desk. We didn't like that people were smoking right outside both the main and rear entrances. They should be asked to move further from the building. Lastly, as our room was on the first floor, we used the back entrance to the rear parking lot. Several times we noticed the door was propped open with towels so it would not lock. Assuming guests may have done this to access the pool, but this is a safety hazard and should be monitored.

I Love the Location: It's Very Private away from the Crowd and the Traffic. Morning Breakfast was Outstanding Every Staff Member was so friendly Housekeeping was Awesome Very Clean & Refreshing

I HAVE NO DISLIKES: We have stayed here Several Times & It's One of the Best Holiday Inn Express , I totally recommend my family and friends to Book when they are in the Washington/Maryland Area for any reason.

Great location, close to DC attractions. Room was nice, clean. Staff are friendly, gave us tips on where to eat. Breakfast was really good and the outdoor pool was nice.

Overall the place was nice, and the bed pillows could have been better.

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. No issues with service at all and stay was painless.

Keycards deactivated multiple times during stay, was most likely my own issue but it was still annoying to have to fix it.

Sometimes this hotel I get rooms that have some underlying plumbing concerns. The waste comes back into the toilet, the shower is slow to drain etc. The water drains slow and the valve might need to be replaced or adjusted.
