Location. You can walk to bars, restaurants, river walk, walking path, the bridge, tourist attractions, the stadium and a restaurant/bar/shopping area. I walked alone safely to and from these areas. It's not far from DC tourist attractions. THE HOTEL HAS THE PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM SCHEDULE ON A LOOP ON A TV SCREEN ON THE WALL... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THAT!!! If you walk to the river bridge, there are historical markers/info along the way on both sides. I appreciated the microwave and fridge. I liked the seating/futon area by the window. I fell asleep on it; it was comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. The bathroom was clean. The lighting was a little tricky. I didn't get it until my last night. The TV was nice. There were plenty of plugs. There's a floor length mirror. There's an onsite restaurant and bar that I didn't get to patronize, but it looked nice. The front counter staff that I encountered each time were nice and helpful. Seeing the on site manager train the new hire with finding my newly extended night stay brought back memories of my days in hospitality. I wish I had had a manager/trainer like her. (I wish that I could add photos, but I'm doing this on the computer rather than from my phone. But I assure you, the views are beautiful and awesome, especially at night.)

Parking. They do not have free parking. Valet prices are high. When we arrived, we got turned around and ended up in the back of the hotel where apparently the valets park the cars, but it looked like the guy was looking through the car he parked. There was also a guy upset about damage to his car in the lobby that he said wasn't there before valet parked his car. ALWAYS TAKE A 360 VIDEO OF THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAR IF YOU DO VALET ANY WHERE. The prices of the concession/market items. The fruit didn't look too fresh.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was very comfortable. It is close to Nationals Park. The metro train is about 15 minutes away. They have all the towels and supplies as we needed them.

Saturday night, there was a party on the roof until about 2AM. You could hear it all through the building as well as outside the hotel. The restaurant is very expensive and there is no restaurant very close. Parking is valet only. They have some food and drink in a refrigerator and charge a lot for it. $4 for a bottle of water and $15 for a small salad. They are building directly across the street, so expect to be awakened at 6AM, as I was for 2 of the nights I stayed. I didn't think you could start construction that soon, but that was the time.

Beautiful spacious rooms! Loved that there was no carpeting. I brought my two pups and the pet fee was $75 one time, not per pet, which was very reasonable. Location could not have been better! Super close to all the wonderful things to do in navy yard, national mall, and all the museums.

Parking was steep at $55 plus feee per night for valet with no self parking option. Street parking is possible to find, but $5 for 2 hours and it wouldn’t let us book more than 2 hours for the same vehicle in the same zone even HOURS apart. So you really are forced to use the valet. The rooms are quite dim even in the bathroom so it was hard to do makeup.

The room was clean, modern and the location to our event was great.

That the rooftop bar was not open. We picked this location based on the views from the rooftop. They would not even open up for us to see the view and take photos.

The location was perfect for me. I worked at Fort McNair a couple of blocks away. The room was very good but with plenty of space I wonder why such few drawers for clothes and other items. I enjoyed having the microwave in addition to the fridge and coffee maker. I usually did not have time in the morning to eat breakfast in the restaurant. I wish there was a way to call to order and pick up to take breakfast with me. Also, the restaurant closed early and had a limited menu for dinner. But I really appreciated the fact that they lowered the volume of the music once I asked, on the one evening I had dinner there. Other than that, the crowds coming and going for the rooftop events didn't bother me. There was good security. Room rates a little too high for me, but the closeness to the work place was a big advantage. The staff was very professional. Thank you!

Loud music reaching the hotel lobby. These days, the loud music everywhere is a plague! Low volume music or no music at all would be more pleasant.

The hotel features very modern facilities, and the thoughtful interior design is evident throughout. I personally dislike carpets, so I appreciated the wooden flooring, which avoids the musty smell often associated with carpets. The environment is also very quiet, ensuring a restful stay. The front desk staff, especially the young gentleman who checked us in, was exceptionally friendly and answered all of our questions patiently. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money.

Location

The parking situation is a disaster. No self parking, only valet! Was there Monday, August 7 for the Pink/Pat Benatar concert and was one big clusterf..k! Poor planning to build a hotel with no parking garage.

Clean, friendly, great place to stay. Breakfast was very good. Unlimited coffee. Bar in the evening good. Close (walking distance) to Capitol, Washington monument, Smithsonian, and the Wharf (a great restaurant area)

Terras on top floor was closed, In the winter season no bicycles available (that was not mentioned on the site, pity as I selected the hotel for this service Requested riverside room and expected river view, but that view was limited The traffic can be a little noise

When i checked in, i was given a room that faced major construction so i asked my room to be switched. The staff was super accommodating & immediately switched me to a room on the same floor with a view of the Washington Monument & US Capitol that was MUCH better😊

My initial room was not satisfactory but was easily switched to a much better room with great views!! I loved my stay at Cambria Hotel & would stay there again! Special kudos to Alex at the front desk for recommending The Silver Diner’n what an awesome breakfast choice just a 10 minute walk from the hotel!
