Great location, liked having the food court and metro station right there.

when I booked the rate on Booking .com, I selected the option with breakfast which was $18/person more. When I got the confirmation, breakfast wasn't included. I contacted the hotel and indeed it wasn't, but in the booking it was. Quite deceiving and I ended up paying an extra $100 that I shouldn't have had to.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent! The location couldn't have been more perfect for Washington D.C. This hotel is located just inside the city, so you don't have much heavy driving to do to arrive. You are within walking distance of The Warf and the National Mall. There was plenty of restaurants nearby also. The rooms were great for a family of 4 too!

The breakfast buffet was very basic and VERY expensive. For the cost per person, there should have been much more options that were freshly cooked. It was typical cafeteria food that had been sitting in warmers for far too long.

It was to much money. $ 39.09 for a Breakfast where you get it your self. And for a poeple qho only eats cereal and a bagel with cream cheese, way to much money. AND for the Pastries, yes you need some fancy pastry, but where was alot of kids there eating and older adults. You need donuts to. People Love them. Pastries was just sitting where collecting dust. And also it need to come with the room all the room. That's ridiculous charge $39.09 FOR BREAKFAST AT A HOTEL.

Not charging for Breakfast, yes ones again That's Ridiculous. And also not have coffee at the time in the lobby. And Yes I know starbucks coffee was there to buy in the lobby. But it's a hotel and most hotel have coffee a water all the time in the lobby.

The rooms were big and the king sized beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff also offered us complimentary breakfast and there was a good variety of food available eg pastries, assorted cheeses, yoghurt, sausages, eggs, pancakes / waffles, fruits, cereal, oatmeal, coffee / tea and fruit punch. The L’Enfant Plaza metro isat the basement which makes travelling convenient. Key places of interest eg Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Museums, were ALL just a walking distance away. The furthest was 2KM which is the Lincoln Memorial but that was manageable as we would walk last Washington Monument and WW2 memorial.

There isn't any laundry facilities and no laundromat nearby. The eateries which L’Enfant Plaza claim to have were mostly closed. Only Panda Express, Charlie’s and Subway were opened. The hotel is very difficult to locate as there are no direction. If you are taking the subwa, the path that leads to the hotel will bring you to L’Enfant Plaza and the doors into the plaza may not be open. The plaza is extremely quiet with very little footfall. It's unlike any shopping plazas I have seen.

The location was perfect for the activities we liked to do. Convenient to walk everywhere and safe. The breakfast was alright. If you don’t buy breakfast with the room at booking, the price is too expensive for daily purchase based on the amount of food served ( small variety of Continental BF). Staffs are friendly and attentive.

Underneath our table and long bench, dust was accumulated over time. Cleaning staffs didn’t vacuum that section. The rest of the food was good. Please pay attention to those details when cleaning the room!

Shortly after our arrival, we were informed by the hotel staff that there was an issue with the pool. Breakfasts were excellent, and the evening bar and drinks were fantastic. During our stay, the fire alarm went off around 4:00 a.m. The hotel staff handled the situation exceptionally well — the evacuation was smooth and well-coordinated! Yes, it was 4:00 in the morning, but safety was clearly a top priority for the hotel team. Huge credit to the staff — bravo!

Too cold in the lobby.

We (including our 8-year old daughter) stayed 5 nights here in the midst of a scorching August heatwave, and were really glad for the great outdoor pool. We didn’t even use it everyday, but when we did, it was indispensable. And the pool is quite large for a centrally-located hotel, with an expansive deck area and plenty of loungers. For those looking for a quieter & kid-friendly scene, be assured there are no DJs, no bar, no “scene”. It’s perfectly quiet. The hotel itself was pleasant. The room (a double king) was large enough that we weren’t stumbling into each other, the bathroom/shower was clean, the beds plush & comfortable. We had a “breakfast-included” option, and were glad to start our day with it. The buffet isn’t huge, but varied enough that we weren’t bored after 3 meals. That indulgence added $50/night to our bill, but the ala carte price was $30/person + $18/child, so it made sense. The staff, unfortunately, seemed uninspired. Greetings were super subtle (even by the 5th day), and adding a gratuity to our check didn’t bring any mojo at all. Getting coffee was hit or miss (HINT: if you are walking around with the coffee pot, LOOK AROUND! I *GUARANTEE* people will want their cups refilled , and they will be grateful!!! Don’t look at the floor). Other meal options are downstairs in the house underground mall, which features numerous fast food counters and a few healthy choices. We saw quite a few people down there when walking to the Metro, but it seems depressing. Since this hotel is in L’Enfant Plaza, you may find the surrounding Brutalist architecture to be charmless (it is). The area nearby has zero charm, and the closest food destination is the wharf (15 min. walk), which is pretty but filled with overpriced restaurants that are not inspired to excel, given the constant march of tourists along the water.

Room and hotel was very clean and staff were all helpful and friendly. The location was good and close to the national mall. Although the room wasn't very big, having two king beds was great for 4 people. A/C was nice and cool which was great when it was over 90 degrees out and we could come back to the hotel to rest and cool off after a busy day.

The hotel needs laundry rooms with washer and dryers - they offer laundry services but the price is per piece and expensive. The bathroom needs an active vent fan as the steam etc in the bathroom would build up. Beds were a bit hard. Wish there were better choices for food in the evenings - the in hotel restaurant menu is very limited at night as it's a business area and most of the places nearby close for dinner. Around the hotel is a bit confusing to navigate on foot.

Spacious rooms. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was pretty good for the family. Handy Starbucks in foyer and little hotel shop with snacks and drinks.

No room service, tiny fridge for a suite, for a family staying 6 nights. I asked but, they couldn't give me a bigger fridge or a second one. The pool was handy but is definitely for kids under 12. They were really enjoying it but not a great atmosphere for a restful dip. Also the general ambiance is like a monolith from a former era. Lots of big empty spaces - odd place, but rooms were renovated and decor was fine.

Great location near the Wharf for dinner and having a taxi rank and metro beside the hotel was also ideal. Shopping mall and atm located downstairs. Pool was lovely. Breakfast was ideal, good choice between continental and full breakfast. Staff were lovely. Room and bathroom were beautiful. A large tv in the room and loved the option of using the chromecast on the tv to cast apps on my phone up to large screen.

The hotel lobby and room were like ice, had to turn off the aircon in the room for the entire stay. The aircon settings wouldn't go high enough.
