Location was excellent- we could even walk to the Metro and dined at close by restaurants. Staff personnel were excellent and friendly- especially the front desk.

Parking was a bit confusing - including how much you could be charged. Also room temperature gauge didn’t work well - causing the room temperature to fluctuate.

booking.com bungled my booking. The lady at reception did her best to help my family and I the best she could and as the hotel wasn't over booked out we were able to mange it by re booking for this singular day. Very dissapointed with bookings.com I've stayed over 20 locations to date and I'm considering switching over to Expedia or Stays. Sorry bookings really wasn't happy that my amended booking wasn't put through to Courtyard Marriott

The room was fine. When I entered I was greeted with a yarn from the man at the front desk. I said, “Wow what a way to greet your guest.” He said oh I’m sorry I’m really tired. 😳

The entrance was difficult to find. Once you enter the doors there nothing there but an elevator. You go to the third floor and there’s the entrance. I had my 96 year old mother with me and was not informed before hand to go to the Wayne Ave garage then go to the 5th level then go over a small bridge to enter. Too much for seniors.

Very short walk ti shopping and the Filmore for a night of music

The room was clean and smelled really nice. The bed was super comfortable The location was great. In walking distance from restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again.

My only compliment is the plumbing in our room. The sink in the bathroom will fill up with water before I finish brushing my teeth and the shower also. The tub filled up with water before finishing the shower. I wish I would have let the front desk know. Maybe we could have gotten a different room. And it's no microwave in the room but we had a refrigerator

The location was close to the Metro and bus services. Excellent restaurants were in walking distance.

Two problems. Being first-timers we were unclear about where to park and how to enter the hotel. A little sign out front is hardly clear enough to direct people to the parking garage and that we had to go to the 5th floor of the garage to register. Better signage would help. And this information should have been on the email confirmation we received. Number two problem was that our room was right above a courtyard and loud talking and laughter kept us awake past midnight the first night of our stay. Thankfully, it rained the second night and there were no distractions.

Great staff-cooperated in changing room to better location. Clean.

Tons of construction in the neighborhood closing streets. We would have appreciated a heads up before check-in with a map of the open or closed streets in the immediate area. It took us 30 minutes of driving around the immediate area to find the front door.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel . The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the Starbucks in the lobby is quite convenient when needing a cup of coffee to start the day. I also quite enjoyed the location of this hotel as you are in the center of downtown Silver Spring which is full of activities, shopping and dining . I will definitely stay here for my next visit .

We did have one issue of the cleaning staff not completing their required cleaning , but this was quickly remediated by reaching out to the front desk.

Very good location if you need to be in Silver Spring, and walkable to.Metro, but I wouldn't stay here if you're planning to spend most of your time in DC for sightseeing etc, as the price is comparable to various downtown DC hotels. Skip the hotel coffee bar and Starbucks and head to any of the numerous Ethiopian coffee shops within a few blocks. Parking is free on Sundays in the adjacent garage, which is owned and operated by the county. Staff were all very friendly and my top floor room was clean and up to Courtyard standards.

Setup of the hotel is a little odd - It's annoying to have to take not one but two elevators to get down to street level.
