The proprietors were welcoming and hospitable. Location is within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and grocery store within Avon. Mein Haus is also 50 yards away from the town shuttle pickup point. Even their local post office is within a 5 minute walk.

There was nothing that I did not like about the property or the owners.

Greeted by an amazing host. House was beautiful and all were so friendly. We had been traveling most of the day even though it was late she allowed us to use the hot tube. We had great conversation during breakfast with homemade sour dough bread. Great time for my first bed and breakfast.

Tamara's breakfasts were awesome! She set the coffee timer for an early hour when we told her we were early risers. The pictures do not do justice - the B&B is extremely roomy and comfortable. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Large bathroom and luxurious shower. We enjoyed watching the Super Bowl in the shared living area and meeting some of the other guests. Separate storage area for ski gear. Love the shoes off policy - keeps the B&B very clean! Separate kitchen area for guests with large refrigerator and cabinet space. Enjoyed the hot tub at the end of ski day! Easy walk to ski shuttle. Tamara and Todd were great hosts. Highly recommend this B&B.

Breakfast was good...eggs sausage apple crisp, coffee. Not a real inconvenience, but I was in the other building so had to go next door for breakfast. No problem. I might have enjoyed a piece of toast...with my coffee...they probably had a toaster, but I didn't look or ask.

Nothing, really. Mein Haus was very good value for the Vail valley and I would certainly stay there again. Being an older person, if they have any rooms on the first level, I would request that rather than manage the stairs .

Tamara's breakfasts were fantastic. I wanted to lick the plate after eating her Eggs Benedict. It was great taking a bath in the large tub after a day of hiking. And this is the only place we have been to that let's you do laundry for free.

Taking our shoes on and off was a small inconvenience especially to go from one building to the other.

The location, breakfast, hot tub we're all superb.

Less involvement with inn keeper and check in process. After a long day of riding and traveling guest just want to go to their room and get some peace and quite. A front desk area where the check in process is faster and more respectful of guest boundaries would be idea.

It was safe, cozy, open, and friendly. Tamera is an amazing hostess.. Everyone’s Airbnb experience should be EXACTLY LIKE THIS. She makes you feel like you are family.

I didn’t dislike anything about this experience, except I didn’t get to stay here long enough. I got a little lost coming at dark in the mountains… It is not a little red building though so don’t look so much at the pic😉

This is the bed&breakfast experience by the book! The rooms in Mein Haus are cozy and comfortable, each with its own private bathroom (and with additional restrooms in the common areas). From the first welcoming moment, over breakfast and other casual moments, our host Todd was very pleasant to talk to and discuss the area and activities. The house policy is not to wear shoes inside, which may come across as unusual or surprising, but it very much aligns with what I do in my own home, and that made it even more cozy and homelike. (and you get much cleaner indoors as a result)

I did not know what to expect given the very reasonable price for the area. Everything was perfect from the crocks to the fantastic breakfast. It is an exceptionally clean and comfortable place to stay. Rarely does a place exceed my expectations. I highly recommend staying at Mein Haus.
