The hotel was easy to find and was conveniently placed not far from the motorway, as we were using it as a stop over for the night, travelling through France to Spain. We were tired and were pleased to find that we could have a drink at the bar and order a meal that evening. The staff were very helpful and guided us through their menu. The fish and vegetables we were served were very tasty and so fresh and I would recommend. We slept well with no noise or disturbance, as the hotel is in the countryside. Buffet continental breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and tomato too. Would recommend

Everything was very good

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were welcomed and shown to our room pleasantly. I had requested to book a table for dinner by email in advance, asking the times for dinner and asking if 7.30 would be possible ( we know that most Spanish hotels do not start serving until around 8.30). The reply was that service was from 8 until 9.30 pm. On arrival I requested to eat at 8pm, and we went down accordingly. We were the second or third customers, but we didn't get to eat until 8.45, with main course arriving at 9.15. There was only one waitress to serve what became a full dining room. She was remarkably friendly, helpful and very busy. I learned the next day, when voicing my dissatisfaction to the lady on reception, that a second waitress was ill, and that there were several British people who all came down to eat at the same time. I sympathise, but none the less my meal was not enjoyable because it was late. It was also rather expensive for what it was. We were also charged for bread, which was doled out to all and did not seem optional. We have stayed twice before in this hotel and I have rated it highly, but not on this occasion.

Pretty hotel just off the motorway. Excellent breakfast usually included. Bar where you can sit outside with a beer and recover after a long drive. Stretch your legs along path adjacent to station. Friendly helpful staff. Good restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday;

As the staff wanted to keep our rooms adjacent they gave us two courtyard rooms. One of these is a disabled room. I think if I was disabled I would not find that it had all the necessary features for example a thermostatic mixer. As it was it could do with some attention. The shower head was loose, bit of mould in the shower, worn furniture, little things but not up to the standard of the other rooms inside the hotel. It gave a feeling that you weren't quite part of the hotel proper which would be sad if you were disabled. On our return trip we had been allocated the same rooms and I asked to change, which the staff kindly did.

Firstly the location was perfect for us. We were travelling to Denia & following the horrendous floods in Valencia many roads were closed. We stayed at La Fonda De La Estacion for the night & it was the perfect refuge. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and supportive and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. We particularly enjoyed the food in the restaurant which was excellent, with a creative, well priced menu. The icing on the cake was the super fast EV charger in the large covered car park. We felt the Gods were smiling on us that evening.

We love ❤️ to stay here every year when we pass by. It's our night of luxury. The bed is absolutely massive. The meal in the restaurant is lovely and just makes our stay more special. The breakfast is huge and way too much for two, but the choice is amazing. Will definitely be back for a fourth time. Chris and Lisa

Nothing to complain about

Peaceful Location perfectly located near main route north. Free covered parking area. Outstanding food in restaraunt for dinner. Friendly staff.

Appeared little disorganised admin wise as rom wasn't ready upon arrival and then we weren't allocated correct room, eventually had to change after I pointed this out. Otherwise everything else was fine.

This is a lovely hotel with welcoming and helpful staff. There is safe enclosed parking. You can relax with a drink outside or take a walk along the old railway, in Spring there are lots of flowers and herbs growing there. I tried partridge in the restaurant and it was delicious.

Very conveniently located next to the long-distance cycling path, the Via Verde. Excellent vegetarian menu. Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful renovated historic building. Because the on-site electric car charging point, was not yet operational (will be in operation later in 2023) and the very nearby fast charging station was also first to be opened as well later in 2023, the owner of the hotel offered to charge our electric car at the hotel.

Nothing I didn't like. But if I have to mention something it would be that, because it is a historic building, the noise insulation (from noise in the restaurant) in the hotel rooms is a bit less than in modern business hotels. But it is not a complaint, as this goes with the historic character of the building.

Property is lovely, we had a room in the courtyard, it was full of character and charm. The on site restaurant was very good. We speak very little Spanish and the Waitress spoke no English however we got by and the meal was delicious, wine great and we thought is was very value for money, overall a very pleasant stay.

Nothing, we did some research before we arrived so we understood where the property was, what was in the surrounding area and it was exactly as expected.

I thought the food was a little expensive, and I was disappointed with my main course of pork loins that didn’t come with any side dishes and had just one small piece of broccoli on the three pork rolls
