WONDERFUL and FANTASTIC place in Koh samet. Every space in the guest house was SO CLEAN. The beds were very comfy so I slept very well every night. The balcony was so useful to dry clothing and swimsuits. A/C was so cool. The owner family was really really kind and friendly. They helped us many times from tour booking, rental bike and anything I needed for enjoying the island. The breakfast and the coffee were SO DELICIOUS and we were 100% satisfied every morning. All foods they made for us were top of top in the island. Strongly and Highly Recommend.

It was very airy and bright and clean. The staff were so lovely despite a limited English they were always happy to help and always said good morning or hello when they saw us. The cleaning process for the rooms is well thought out and executed and they make sure you have clean towels and fresh water daily. It’s a short walk to the main road where you have the beach and lots of restaurants and shops. The bed is very comfortable the shower hot and powerful we really didn’t dislike anything about our stay here. I do think that maybe having a water dispenser in the lobby could help reduce plastic waste.

When we arrived our fridge hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. There was milk and half eaten yoghurt and half drank water still in it. Didn’t bother us at all still used the fridge.

-The private room is spacious, cute design and a large fridge. -The lady at reception was so kind, swapped out a kettle for me when it was faulty no issues at all -They arranged a tour for us, pickup and dropoff at hotel -Beach towels provided for our use at any time -Whatsapp communications which came in handy for tours and questions -Clean towels and water left outside our room everyday, and a full room clean every 2nd day a -Laundry self service opposite the hotel/hostel, easy to use with a coin exchange machine -Near the “main strip” and a short walk to the main toursit beach

-Bed is a little firm, and there was often a damp/sewage smell in the room (from the bathroom) -No safety deposit box

I stayed in the double room 4.2 on the 4th floor, it was really everything I needed after staying in dorm rooms for 3 weeks. The room is the perfect size, with comfortable bedding. Beautiful ligh comes in in the morning but the curtains are there if you need to sleep in! I thought the location is also great, halfway to the Nadan pier but to catch the ferry and also halfway to the beach. Room is cleaned every day with a change of towel and bin bag. 2 bottles of water are also provided every day. Super good value for money, I would extend if I could.

Minor thing but I would have liked to have a shower curtain instead of splashing water all over the WC and floor.

Highly recommend! It’s a 7-minute walk from the ferry to the hostel and a 5-minute walk from the hostel to the beach. We rented a scooter from the hostel, which was very convenient. We’ve been traveling for about two months, and this was the cleanest hostel we stayed at. We got cleaning every other day. The couple who worked there are absolutely wonderful and helpful. It feels very homely. Their breakfast/brunch gets high marks. They had a small, carefully selected menu.

This place is a little Gem and was absolutely perfect for my stay. I came to koh samed to spend time on the beach with total relaxation and that's exactly what I achieved. The hostel is run by a lovely young Thai family of whom are very friendly and any Concerns that you may have are dealt with immediately. My air-conditioning room was perfect with a comfortable bed & soft pillows. It's also a good place to meet up with other friendly Europeans and share their travelling experiences. I don't often make comments on places, but this is a really good place to stay & I shall definitely be staying at samed hostel on my return to the island.

There's nothing to dislike about this place & great value for your money.

Room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Great location. Highly recommend hiring a moped (100 baht for an hour or 300 for a day) to explore the island, but there are also plenty of bars/places to eat near Stay Samed too.

Breakfast was limited - there was no tofu and as a vegan there were no other suitable options.

We stayed in a private room. Very nice, spacious, the bathroom was a wet room (and everywhere got wet when you showered). Room cleaned (small clean every day, and a full clean ,sheets etc every 2 days). Kettle, water, fridge and TV. Location great, just off the main road so it was nice and quiet.

Bathroom drain wasn't draining very well and was a little smelly after use.

Everything in the hostel was really clean and well taken care of. The staff is superfriendly and helpfull, they do their best to help you , also with transport etc. The room we had was spacious and the bed was really nice. The food was good and lots of choices. Its close to the port and town and the beach . I will 100% come back

Nothing, all was good

The room was very comfortable and big. The entire place was spotless and the location is great. You can walk to the pier or to the mais beach in just two minutes. The staff was amazing, specially Mali, who was incredibly friendly and competent. Also, her chocolate pancakes were amazing. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again.
