We decided to stay at the Aranyhomok due to its perfect location right in the very downtown of Kecskemét. The building is relatively old but very well revamped and inside it looks really good. The room was nice and spacious and had a cool balcony overlooking the Kecskemét’s main square. Bathroom was comfy and clean. The biggest plus for the location though - everything is within a very short walking distance.

The hotel is slightly overpriced. We understand its location and facilities but still, a bit too much. Oh and we were not super happy that in this price we were not offered a parking, as it was apparently full

Amazing SPA, massage, swimming pool! I also requested a room with a bathtube and it was great! Very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very dog-friendly and my big dog enjoyed his stay as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and beautiful hotel with a picturesque view over the main square of the city.

Breakfast was extra 8€ and I decided to go to the nearby cafe which was a great decision (I paid less than 4 euros for a delicious breakfast outside).

The place was very nice and relaxing. The room was cozy and quite big for a solo traveller. The staff in the front desk and spa section were very friendly and welcoming and spoke good English. The spa section was nice and clean. I particularly liked the Finnish sauna :)

The hotel was a bit far from the train station. Although all the other staff were very friendly, the server in the restaurant downstairs was very grumpy and didn't speak good English. The menu in the restaurant was also only in Hungarian.

My husband and I had a very good experience in this hotel. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and nothing was defective. The air-conditioning worked well too and sound-proofing was impeccable: we could barely hear neighbours or the central bus station - just outside our window (we were on the 4th floor). The wellness area was small but everything was in good working order (pool and sauna). The personnel at the reception were accommodating and kind. We have not tried the restaurant as we had a rate without breakfast: there are plenty of breakfast and lunch places around the hotel.

The only unpleasant surprise was that we had to pay extra for the parking.

The room and hotel were exceptionally clean and orderly. Old-fashioned but nice. We unfortunately didn't have an opportunity to use the pool as we were just there for a night. Breakfast was decent, nothing amazing but solid.

This isn't really a concern, but I messaged them before coming if they have a place to park, and they just said they reserved without mentioning it was additionally charged. They should mention it's not included when someone asks. However, I ended up unknowingly parking on the street next to the hotel and they didn't charge the reserved space.

Right on the main square, if you choose the rooms with a balcony, they have a better view. Good size rooms, very welcoming and attentive staff. I must highlight the receptionist at wellness, he was supernice.

This is rather a fair 3-star hotel than a four-star, but the staff made our stay with their flexibility and kindness. We were staying here over the weekend, so parking was free on the street but for such a hotel a garage would be great.

The hotel is a well maintained, clean and well organized accommodation. The location is literally in the heart of the city. The interior is far better than you'd expect based on the look of the hotel. The rooms are immaculate, they offer a great selection for breakfast. Staff is friendly and they have a small wellness area, too. Well worth it.

There is no onsite parking, you need to park in a nearby shopping center, for extra fee and hustle. The single room beds are rather short, clearly not made for men over 175 cm.

Хотелот е изграден одамна, но јас сум воодушевена како е одржуван, редовно реновиран, сѐ е беспрекорно, чисто, удобно, а за персоналот само пофални зборови, прељубезни, професионални и со одличен англиски. Всушност и самите граѓани во градот се љубезни, услужливи и желни да помогнат. Прекрасно мирно местенце што вреди да се посети. Ние дефинитивно ќе го посетиме повторно, овојпат со подолг престој.

Pleasant staff during check-in, parking for a fee in a closed parking lot, very clean room including the necessary hygiene equipment. The hotel is located in the beautiful city center.

Dirty pool walls. During the final billing for dinner and breakfast, they charged us for half board and breakfast in addition, with the justification that half board is not half board but only for dinner, because we ordered it until there was room, and that is why the price is higher. Finally, the price of breakfast was deducted. A very unpleasant experience.

The location is fantastic, in the very center of the town. The staff was very friendly, especially the wellness staff on the first evening. Spa clothes are available for free, the pool was bigger than expected. The balcony in the room offered a great view on the main square, the heating worked well, the room was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Waiting times by the check-in and check-out could be slightly reduced.
