Breakfast was a la carte - you pay what you order. For people who don't want to stuff their faces until they burst with a continental buffet, this is a good solution. Personnel was courteous, and you could smoke on the restaurant's terrace, while having a coffee. The surroundings are nice, rather deserted at this time of the year. Yet, many of the establishments are still functional. Free parking a few meters further from the property. Aquapark Senec in a 10 min walking distance.

Good location. There's a pool in case you don't want to swim in the lake.

The hallways are very dark and the lights are on sensors with extremely short timers. You end up roaming in the dark with the rest of the hotel guests. Not a big deal, but there should be a constant ambient light.

It was very nice place! The staf was very nice and always tried to help as good as they can, eventhough their english was very poor. I liked the restaurant very much. The food was good.

The light in the corridors was far too poor - almost non-existent. We had far to little toilet paper and the cleaning in the rooms was also non existent - only the trash can got emptied.

Overall its ok but its too hot in the rooms and that makes the stay a little bit hard. And u can not stay more then 10 the last day. Reception people are always not very interested and not smiling. We were staying there 3 times but the reception people were not very profesional. Even one time she came at the door angry that we didnt know that we need to leave the room at 10.

Exceptionally large room. The food looked very delicious, although we haven't tried it.

One needs a bit of luck with the parking: if the spots in front of the hotel are taken, the neighbouring ones are reserved for other hotels.

Nice style (wooden koliba, with same themed restaurant), good restaurant with decent food and big portions

Receptionist. First we were given a room which was full of some training materials (event that was taking place there). We asked to change it so they did but wanted to give this room to other part of the family. We asked receptionist to do something about the stuff - her response - "ok maybe tomorrow" (day after check-in???). We asked her to do something about it immediately - her response - "it's heavy, I'm not going to carry that. Complain to the owners". So she basically tried to make this our problem :) In general, wasn't very helpful. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there.

I've stayed at Hotel Koliba a few times by now. As you can see from the photos they've managed to create quite a decent lodge, with wood used for mostly everything. The rooms are quite basic, but always super clean and the staff where super friendly and professional. Plenty of parking in the area. Pet friendly.

More shelfs needed in the bathroom. Only a tiny shelf for 4 people, and there is plenty of room in the bathroom.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly!

We wish we came a bit later in the season so we could enjoy the pool and jacuzzi.

The rooms have very bad soundproofing, you could hear all the neighbors, but maybe this is because the building is made of wood...
