NH Bratislava Gate One is a very attractive hotel, especially for business travelers, but families with children and even pets will feel welcome here as well — our dog received a bed and bowls for the stay! While the location isn’t central, it’s easy to reach the Old Town and main attractions of Bratislava in just 10 minutes by public transport. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is always helpful and highly professional. The hotel also offers a small pool, jacuzzi, and saunas. A large shopping center is just nearby. Highly recommended — a great place for both business trips and city breaks in this beautiful city.

Additionally, when we requested a pancake for our 4-year-old—since they had run out—the staff member’s response was shockingly unprofessional. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and displayed visible frustration in front of our child. This level of service was completely unacceptable.

My favorite hotel in Bratislava for years now. Firstly I received small room with no walk in shower which is my must have in that hotel - after asking for change in reception I got one without any problems - even bigger than I have expected. I was welcomed with sweet treat and water which was nice from the hotel. Silence in the rooms is really relaxing. Super nice reception desk people.

In hotel this quality, and price range parking could be included in the price - especially that it is not in the center of Bratislava.

I picked this hotel for its location. Very close to the Bratislava airport and walking distance to the shopping park. Also, the wellness option played its role. The check-in was smooth, I picked the room on 5th floor in pre-check-in option. The room was good size with decent storage facilities. Clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom is very large for room of this size. The wellness facilities are small but have cozy atmosphere. Very good choice for breakfast with some gluten free options

Shower corner - I like the visual aspect of the design but not practical at all. All the water was splashing out into the bathroom and due to the design of the drainage, the water stayed on the bathroom floor until next morning, making the access to the toilet very challenging. The sink was also very small for the size of the bathroom with barely any room for personal toiletries. It was also not draining very well. Sadly, not so much the hotel issue, but I asked the reception to arrange for a morning cab to the airport. The cab never arrived despite multiple chasers! One of the receptionist offered to give me a ride as a very last resource, as otherwise I would have missed my flight.

As a frequent guest of NH hotels, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a higher room category. Everything was truly perfect – the room was spotless, warm, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed was cozy, and despite the hotel being next to a road, the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and quiet night’s sleep. I also appreciated that the windows could be opened for fresh air. Overall, a flawless experience in every aspect. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean, making our experience pleasant. I found the hotel to be family-friendly, and we were able to use the wellness center at no extra cost. One of the things I loved most about this hotel was the late checkout on Sundays, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay even longer

Unfortunately, the parking fee at the hotel was quite high, and I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to park on the street, even though there were available spaces

Clean and nice and design (Eames primarily) rooms. Wood IN the rooms on the floor carpet ON the floor in the corridors. Yes, that is exactly as it should be. Helpful staff (and charming). Did not have time for breakfast but I think a very very good hotel.

Pay for the parking? 15 euros? This hotel is close to the airport but NOT walking distance and FAR from the center. Also, they talk about a shuttle but they do not have a shuttle: it is a bus you have to find.

New vibe hotel...with strategic position (good connection with airport line and stadium line). Very clean, not crowded, huge standard rooms. The area and the rooms are also quiet. Spa included...tasty breakfast. Bathtub and separate shower.

There is nothing to do in the night (neither nearby) There were plenty of empty rooms...and some early check-in bonus was a big plus. Unfortunately we have to pay almost 50euros so we can check-in earlier

I like the standard room with a balcony, the big king size bed, the clean room, the room had only 1 room next to us which seemed not to be occupied the whole time or the guests were quiet.

I didn't like that spa was always missing the bath robe, slippers and no one was at the reception at the spa to help. We were feeling cold in the room most of the time. The balcony door didn't have a key to lock it (my child sleepwalks and it was a massive health and safety issues). We didn't book a room with a balcony. We were happy being given one with a balcony but we didn't know it doesn't have a key.

It is an ok hotel, but there are thing to repair and renovate already.

They charge full price for breakfast for kids (9 and 10 year old). Parking is 15 euros a night. Altogether that brought the price of the room quite high. Kids are not allowed to spa after 18:00, but in the morning and till the afternoon the spa does not work. So no swimming pool for the kids as a result.
