This is a special place. Rooms are simple but beautiful. Nature around gives a unique atmosphere. Worth visiting, worth staying the night and see the Santuario's quiet evening and night.

It was a bit difficult to find an open restaurant or trattoria in the evening, I guess this was because it was out of high season. So just in case take something to eat and drink with you.

My mother and I stayed here on a little trip around the area and we fell in love with it! We’ve long had a knack for finding “different” places to stay when traveling, and this was an amazing find. The backdrop is gorgeous, the entire institute is amazingly beautiful and serene. The beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. A great find!!

Very poor wi-fi. So-called suites have nothing special compared to standard rooms. The whole Sanctuary is a beauty, with churches and chapels, a magnificent cemetery, lovely nature and mountains around. The employees, be it at the restaurant or the hotel, trust you (no security, no vigilance, etc.). The people at Croce Bianca Restaurant are very friendly. Also the (ex-voto) Gallery is worth the travel in itself: ultimate discover for me. Said so: there was twelve guests during my staying. I wouldn't know during High season...

Historical location. Beautiful mountain surroundings, very picturesque. Peaceful and relaxing. Excellent food from a number of providers in the area. A wonderful escape from the urban centres.

Check in location a bit confusing. A lot of shops and the museum closed when visiting in the week. This information would be helpful to know before you go.

Lovely location in the heart of the monastery, with spectacular views of the Valley. Simple rooms.

Slightly cold and the heaters did not work (this was ely September so expect they will get switched on later in the season). Try to get a room at the end of the corridor as people coming-and-going into the accommodation area make lots of noise.

location with beautiful views - very clean room with daily cleaning service - very good heating system in the room and bathroom - imho modern yet old-fashioned internal design with real old wood, stone, white and grey colors

It's whole area is fantastic. Even the rooms are nice and stylish. Simple but okay according to the location. Bathroom is quite nice and tidy.

We booked without breakfast, we paid for breakfast. But it worths all together.

What an amazing place and the accommodation is right there on site. The bedroom was simple but totally adequate and the bathroom looked nicely updated. Plenty of sights for our 2 nights stay, plenty of restaurants and bars for food and drink too. Days look to be busy with tourists/pilgrims, but the evenings go very quiet. Plenty of parking which is free, but as it can be busy, be prepared to grab what you can on arrival and move to be spot later

Took us a bit of time to find the office to check-in, maybe needs a clear instruction with the booking confirmation? One bed was noisy when sitting on it or turning over in it - bit of maintenance required?

It was an amazing experience. The room was what you would expect for a Sanctuary.

No hot water. You are a captive of the facilities ie Restaurants and Coffee Shop . Thank goodness they were open . The coffee shop was a saviour , albeit a restricted menu .

Clean and comfortable in a most magnificent setting. The staff friendly and a accommodating. I stayed overnight half-board and was pleased with value of the food and attentiveness waiter.
