I wanted to stay in a typical building and the hotel was the perfect spot for me, I loved it, and the room wasso big, the bathroom as well, it was so great to experiment this. On the way to our room,we passed the garden which lookedso pleasant, but we didnt have time to sit there with a book. The owner was very nice and friendly, he let us drop our bags as we arrived early from Malmö and we came back at 3.30pm for check in. Breakfast was wonderful, there was even herring, so swedish we were delighted! We cannot recommend enough this place!

Calm location yet very central. Friendly staff. Genuine feeling. Great to be able to use the sauna alone. Nice breakfast. Comfortable beds.

A very small thing but the handle inside the bathroom was lose when we arrived and almost fell off which would be a bit tricky from the inside.

Really special hotel in an old building. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with furniture that suited the atmosphere of the hotel. Location was good and it was easy to park the car in front of the hotel, at least during the weekend. A lot of options at the breakfast. Nice and quiet garden for guest to use.

The property is really nice and very well located. The rooms are comfortable and clean. All the staff are super nice and welcoming! The breakfast service they offered is like a 5 star hotel (super complete). I will recommend anyone that plans to visit Ystad to stay at this lovely hotel!

They didn’t have a parking lot

This is a charming and cozy inn perfectly located in Ystad. We don't have a car and it is very easy to walk or cycle everywhere from this location. The rooms, the breakfast room, and the garden all feel like an old-school (that's a compliment!) hotel that has the personal touch. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Having a small refrigerator in the room is extremely helpful.

It would be good if the breakfast were more vegan-friendly: for example, if there were oat milk and non-dairy yoghurt on hand.

The hotel is located in an old, renovated building with a very cozy garden. A very atmospheric place. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was large, comfortable and smelled of fresh linen. The breakfast was modest but very tasty. The location couldn't be better, right next to the market square.

Rooms backing onto road at back of the hotel were little noisy. Breakfast was good but could have benefited from increased range.

The breakfast was god and we slept well. A very nice old house and friendly hosts. Very nice location in the center of the Ystad town. We enjoyed an evening walk downtown and a nice restaurant for our dinner. A nice outdoor garden that we did not have time to enjoy but would have if we had stayed two nights.

Nothing we did not like. Of cause it was an old house and narrow stairways - not for handicap people but ok for us.

The staff were great and really went out of their way to help. Good breakfast and a lovely garden where you can enjoy breakfast or a coffee. The location is very central with a short walking distance to shops and restaurants. Good value for money.

The property is very old, so you have to be mindful of that. There are a lot of stairs, uneven floorboards, no lift etc That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's part of the charm of an old house. We would have liked proper bath towels, the ones we had were very small. There was a shampoo/body wash combo, in the shower, which felt a bit like hand soap. We would have liked better quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Friendly, service minded owners/personale. We were upgraded to a suite without question or cost when it turned out our room was not ready. Centeral location. Comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Easy and cheap parking.
