The hotel has a very charming atmophere. My room was an individual one, quite small but it was more than enough for a one night stay. Very decent breakfast with fresh orange juice and delicious selection of breads, cold cuts and paté.

I found a bit uncomfortable to have to go down some stairs to get to my room (after leaving the lift, up in the floor).

Perfect location, just in the town center and close to the ferry and train station. Breakfast was really nice, especially the sausages were delicious. I personally loved the glazed ceramic decorations (bottles and "containers") on the stair way and around. The bed was comfortable too.

We cannot really complain anything. Only my husband did not like that the curtains did not darken the room and the light came into the room too early in the morning. :-)

Hotel is in grand historic restored building. Room was spacious and bed was very comfy

No mini fridge in room. I like to be able to have a cup of tea with milk but without a mini fridge I cannot store milk. I also like to chill water but again without a fridge this is not possible

In the middle of old Ystad. Many restaurants close by. Parking available (with pre-reservation) for an extra cost but public parking available too (extra cost but not expensive). Hotel was beautiful, free water coffee tea.

Lovely hotel in charming town. The hotel is furnished to a high standard and the bedrooms a good size. Two comfortable chairs in a room for two people is always a good sign and this was the case in this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A most enjoyable stay. Breakfast has good choices and we ate well in the restaurant for dinner.

Lot of noise in night, seemed like a drunk coming back to his room. No staff to calm thins down.

Didn’t know our room would overlook road and railway line. Not a problem for us and had air conditioning but could be noisy if you wanted the window open overnight.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Few minutes walking from train station and ferry port. Cosy room, quiet, spacious, with a great bed. Room and bathroom were spotless clean. Fantastic breakfast and great value for money. Very kind staff.

Not a dislike but wish they had a waffle iron or waffles for breakfast. 🙂

Gorgeous old building with the atmosphere of better times gone by. Beautiful.

Air con in the rooms would have been a bonus, but it’s an old building and this may not be possible.
