Beautiful apartment-like rooms set in a court yard. Everything is decorated in an elegant African theme and the rooms have everything you need and are very big. We also felt very safe, the rooms and the parking away from the main street.

The room is spacious. The bed could be king size as there is the space for it.

The walls seems not very sound proof, as the person next to our room cough the whole night and could hear it very clearly.

The host was excellent in accommodating us to ensure our stay was great. Really appreciated the effort in providing us with the best possible service. Thank you.

The garden was well kept, and the rooms were clean, and had all the necessary comforts.

The airconditioner was noisy and did not work properly - however there was an oversized fan to assist with cooling the room.

Localization : close to an electrical plant - but when you are inside the compound you forget about it

We found Country Lodge to be the most exquisite place to stay. The property is decorated with quirky African art and is a definite eye catcher. The young manager couldn't do enough to help us and she even drove us out and back to Orange River Cellars and even had time to give us a quick tour of the town! Breakfast was excellent

Perfect location, close to everything. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We arrived and requested a different room and it was done without any hassles. The rooms were neat and tidy, very comfortable. Thanks to our hosts Nicolene and Johnny.

Secure and enclosed gardens with a pool. Large and comfortable rooms. Close to the mall and road leading out of Upington to Kalaghadi or Nakop border post. The host also own a butchery next door which is convenient. Very friendly and interesting to talk with hosts. A blessed stay.
