Location fantastic. View is exceptional. Staff and owner work very hard and are available except when trying to check out. The office was closed and locked which was strange when checkout time is 11:00 so could not check out with office and get a receipt and turn in the key. This hotel is very quaint and very comfortable which makes up for any issues that they are obviously in re covery mode from the hurricane. There is ongoing work after the hurricane and owner and staff are doing their best to help recover and make this little bit of history memorable and welcoming. Actually loved the stairs going to different spots like pool and restaurant. The views from pool and villa balcony made us want to grab a drink and linger longer. Was exactly what we needed. We will be back.

Absolutely gorgeous views, great food at the restaurant and one of the nicest and most personable bartenders I’ve ever met in my life. We were in town during carnival and he gave us some tips on places to go. Super cool dude. Check in was super easy. The lady at the front desk was super nice and even let us check in 5 hours early!!! Parking was never an issue. Always had a spot right next to the staircase we used to access the room. Room was huge and fit our group perfectly. I couldn’t believe the value of this place compared to what we paid. Will absolutely stay here again and will recommend to all my friends.

The Staff at Mafolie Hotel were nice. Geneva, Elise and the Breakfast Attendant were very nice and pleasant with all guests. Geneva went out of her way to ensure that we were able to go on a guided Tour to view some of the beautiful sites in St. Thomas. The Cleaning staff were very pleasant and courteous. The Mafolie Hotel is beautiful with lush tropical flowers and trees all over the place. I felt like I was in Paradise. The view throughout the Hotel facilities were OMG, WOW! WOW! and BREATHTAKING. (:-).

Please change the Shower Head in the tub and add air fresheners in the bathroom.

I thought the breakfast was just right, i absolutely loved the warm pastries and the fruit. The location was perfect, gorgeous views from our balcony day and night. Super safe. Everything we needed was made available to us right away. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the restaurant was on limited menu due to staffing shortage. However, I tried what they did have on the menu, and it was very tasty and satisfying.

This is a great hidden gem of a hotel. The location is perfect for getting around (with a vehicle). The view is stunning. The rooms are large and cute. We had a junior suite with a balcony. I could sit there for days. The pool is small but clean with a gorgeous view of the marina. The restaurant on site is delicious and so convenient when you've been out and about all day and just want a quiet yummy spot to watch the sun go down. (The fish is very fresh and tasty.) The free breakfast is NOT a cheap continental pastry and coffee disappointment. We had delicious omelettes, french toast with apples, fresh fruit, eggs with sausage and bacon, etc., and loads of coffee. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Steven, the owner, is so down to earth and great for recommendations. I will absolutely stay here again. I love the idea of helping a local small business owner in a boutique hotel. Even if you stay somewhere else, check out the restaurant. It's delicious and the wait staff are great.

The bathroom for our room was teeny and the vent rattled, but I didn't care. It was large enough to get a shower and take care of business. And it was very clean. Street parking can be a challenge if you have a rental car (which I recommend), but we always managed to find a spot. Parking spots become available after the restaurant closes. Not the hotel's fault, but worth noting: The only GPS you can rely on in St. Thomas is Google Maps. The others will take you through crazy alleys and stuff. Stay on the designated "highways" and you'll get to the hotel just fine. Remember to keep left!

The view of the villa was spacious. The view from the junior suite was nice . The breakfast was good for continental. The pool view was beautiful.They had a list of things to do and transportation. We used Joyce taxi and she got my party of 8 around for the whole 4 days . The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Fyi it is an older property with a lot of steps . But I would stay here again I had no complaints about the price .

The view was spectacular. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They offered us a welcome drink upon checkin and had cold drinks for purchase when the office was open. They were willing to recommend restaurants for dinner. The pool deck was beautiful and had a warm view. They were willing to store our bags the day we checked out. The included breakfast was a big perk with food prices on the island. We were only here for 24 hours but it was a lovely stay.

Incredible view. Great location. Lots of hot water with good pressure. A/C kept the room cool. Property was clean and welcoming. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Only drawback was the lack of variety with the meals. Think that there should be a coffee pot in the room, also. I'd definitely stay here again!

Need coffee makers in the rooms. Better variety for breakfast.

I loved the view...the view the view. So great! I would book a room with a view 100%. We did not go in the pool but it looked great..we were there for a short time. Also staff was super friendly!

It was not their fault but the restaurant was closed due to staffing shortage but they moved us to a nicer room, which was great. The breakfast is mid, so if that is your purpose for staying here I would not go for the breakfast.
