Staff very helpful. Able to walk out to beach from hotel. Accommodations were fantastic. Nice size, full kitchen was nice touch

Time share sales company based in lobby. Not liking the sales pitch when I'm trying to just relax. Company's desk was at hall leading to restaurant. No way to get to restaurant without sales pitch.

The parking across 2main highways, no crossing light,no walking bridge and no valet. The registration garage is impossible to park without scratching your car and almost impossible to get out of the garage

Room wasn't the cleanest (behind curtains , under stove top) Also the thermostat sucks not being able to really control the "auto" settings...

Everything was wonderful! Comfy bed, clean, polite and helpful staff (especially the gentlemen helping load/unload cars and get people headed in the right direction for check in... they were seriously gems). The restaurant located within the hotel "Just Off Main" had pretty good food, too. The staff working in the restaurant and bar area were super friendly and ready to help or just chat. They have an unlimited DVD rental program in the lobby with DVD players in the room. The dishes in the kitchenette were clean and good quality. We cooked a steak dinner in the room with garlic bread, potatos and salad and had everything we would ever need. This is such a nice place to stay. If you're looking for the perfect, low-key place to stay for a long weekend during the off-season, this is it... I will also mention the KILLER sunrises you get to witness right off of your balcony. Truly, it was a wonderful experience, and my husband and I are both sad that it had to end. We will definitely be back...

I like the rooms. The room was nice and clean and the beds were so comfortable . I had everything you needed to make breakfast/ dinner. All the pots/pans even a toaster. Since we traveled for Christmas nothing was really open on that day so I had to cook and everything I needed was in the kitchen. I would say at least get one cookie sheet to go in the rooms. That was the only thing missing. The view from our room was amazing. I'll be booking again very soon! This is my go to hotel when I come to the beach.

Room was great except towards end of stay foul odor coming up from kitchen drain. Location great. Beach fabulous. Housekeeping staff exceptional.

Jacuzzi and lazy river need to be cleaned more. Food horrible in restaurant...both breakfast and dinner. Staff not knowledgeable about certain issues. Handicap person required help and my husband assisted her as no staff around to help. We stayed at Avista last year and there was a big difference this year and not for the good. Not sure we will return after this year. Toilet paper holder broken and maintenance just said they could not fix it, so my husband went to the store and fixed it himself..unacceptable that we needed to fix something that small...just imagine if it was something large!! Most staff new from last year and that is not a good sign. I feel Avista really needs to step up their game.

The staff is super nice... My room was very very clean... Parking was easy... Fridge..oven and microwave were very clean And the best part is that it is overlooking the ocean...

That the restaurant doesn't have a sanitation grade posted... The rooms position is more of a side view versus straight on...don't worry...I'm a beach girl and that's my own thing... The beds were ok...I didn't sleep well in them but they were ok for the most part... There is a huge nightstand in the bedroom that makes it hard to get on the other side of the bed...

The food at the restaurant at the hotel was fantastic. The dj by the pool, the fire show. The bars everything u need was there. EVEN shopping at the Little store at hotel or walking across the street to the shops

The king room only had one tiny vent for the closed off bedroom. It was hot when we arrived.we wanted to rest after our travel the room was too hot had to ask for a fan. The main room had too large vents.poor design. But after the first night the room got cooler. The food at the fire show was cold. Vip was served first then we were next and the food was still cold. Will not eat that again wasted $25 a plate on cold food.
