The hostel is located in a lovely town, perfect for a stop over when travelling around Italy. The ladies working there were very kind, gave us suggestions for some good restaurants nearby, the room was spatious and everything was extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable and our room had an amazing view from top of the hill. It would be worth staying here just for that view. The kitchen facilities are currently not working because of covid situation. All in all it is a great value for money!

Everything was above expectation for my first stay in a hostel!

We booked two private rooms and got only one. They refused to refund us the second room. The access to our room was through the other room only. (apparently the one we paid for and were not allowed to use) Room that we were given was a lobby with nice fluorescent lights and an elevator which made us very scared. There was no way of knowing if some one visited the room while we were gone or anyone could have got in anytime during the night. Place is *very* hard to find - you have to drive through a parking place and then turn sharp right down the hill. Closest parking is approximately 100 meters away. 100 meters of very steep uphill. I totally understand that this is a cheap accommodation, but there was nothing provided. Not even one time use plastic cup. When I went to ask for it in Italian, the host just said no. So prepare to bring your own plastic cups - You can get 50 of them from the closest supermarket (+1km away) for 1 euro. There was only one night light for three people and one small table and plastic garden chair. No place to store your food - our fruits was filled with ants in the morning. We couldn't find any services within walking distance, so car is a must. Host was very rude when talking in Italian and did not speak any english. Kept only repeating "the car can't stay here, the car can't stay here" when I was unloading the bags by the building.
