The setting is quiet and scenic, yet still offers quick and easy access to the city center in Vienna. The room was clean and very comfortable, in a beautiful location. The hotel is located in a stunning castle close to the hiking and wine area, and the city center. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. I especially appreciated the calm atmosphere after busy days in the city. Highly recommended for everyone.

We were celebrating an important anniversary, and asked for a good room with a view. We could not have been happier with the room, the care and attention, the speed of communication, and the perfect location right beside extensive vineyards. The breakfast buffet was very good too. There was even a shared kitchen with well-stocked fridge working on the honour system. All this without mentioning the beautiful Schloss with its stunning history, and the lovely nearby town of Gumpoldskirchen with its heurigens.

We are absolutely delighted with our accommodation. The castle feels like something out of a fairy tale—everything is immaculately clean, and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The view from the castle is unbelievably beautiful. Communication with the hosts was excellent; they were very accommodating and friendly. The entire area has a magical atmosphere. There are a few local restaurants nearby serving phenomenal food. This is definitely one of those places we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

There was nobody in the hotel when we arrved around 7 p.m. The directions for the parking lot were unreadable. We tried to use phone number we had gotten but nobody ansvered and nobody called back. We didn't know that there is a lift so we had to carry our luggage by stairs to the high 2 floor. Our room was nice and cosy but very dark, not enough light. Breakfast was ok thought egs only hard boiled and no jogurt.

I absolutely adored this hotel! It was a very central location amongst the vineyards, and in my opinion, the best location in the town. The property was beautiful, and the rooms were large and spacious. The breakfast was basic, but delicious, and our own personal breakfast table was all set up for us when we arrived in the breakfast room. The owner/manager onsite was very kind and helpful. I would love to have the opportunity to stay here again!

Wonderful location in a climatic castle with a chapel, surrounded by vineyards. Very tasty breakfasts and tidy rooms. Delicious local wine (!). A trail to Wienerwald right next to the Schloss and Vienna only 20 km. And of course a very hospitable owner.

Altho there is no AC in 33C heat, the spacious rooms are cool and the hillside breeze through the large windows refreshing. The stay was immaculate. Breakfast was fresh and fulfilling. Historical aspects of the schloss were everywhere evident and inspire curiosity.

Very friendly staff, quick check in, beautiful house and location. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice to have access to cutleries. The room was clean and was without those automatic room fragrance spray and strong parfum smells (so it is good for parfum allergic people). :-) We would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing to dislike! Maybe just too few towels for the size of the room but I know that if I had asked they would have brought extra towel right away. For our short stay it was completely ok.

A unique place, not because of any luxurious amenities, but because of the character of the place, the surroundings, and Ladislaus's approach. Thank you for another pleasant stay.

Perfect location in the heart of Gumpoldskirchen, right next to the wine fields. Atmosphere was very warm and cozy. The host was very friendly and helpfull in all matters. I can highly recommend this beautiful castle to everybody. LOVED IT!
