The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious enough and soundproof.

The location is not the safest for females in the evening. This has nothing to do with the hotel but with people in the neighbourhood.

The room was very nice for three adults, comfortable and clean. The sports bar decor is really nice and it serves amazing breakfasts. Good access to the city center and main train station by public transport.

Really just minor things. The hotel neighborhood is not the best, with limited dining options close to the hotel, although the transport options and distance to the center make up for this. We originally chose this hotel because it is within walking distance from the main train station but it is actually better to take the tram to the closest stop, as the walk goes through areas that are not so nice. The hotel building is very big so it was quite a long walk to our room from the main (and only) entrance, to the point we would rather take our bags with us to breakfast rather than have to go back to the room to get them.

The location of the hotel is really great. The public transport is close by and the whole city is accessible from the hotel's location. The room was very well equipped with everything you'd expect in a four star hotel, including a small fridge. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also very good with a large selection of breakfast items and I strongly recommend trying it.

The room's floor was not very well cleaned before our arrival, because there were lots of pets hair on the floor. Furthermore, the slippers were not included in the room, but when we asked for them, they were delivered to us by a house keeper.

My experience was fantastic. There are no negative comments to report. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and they were very helpful when I asked for early check-in. Also, they were really kind and let us store our luggage, which was a huge help for us since our return flight was late. Entering the room, I noticed that it was spotless, very warm and comfortable. On of the top highlights of the hotel is the breakfast, there are a lot of options for all kind of diets. Fresh fruits, different kind of milk, a variety of cheese, bread, sweets etc and great quality of coffee. Before travelling to Vienna I was concerened about the location of the hotel, that it looked far from the center. On the contrary, the hotel is located very close to metro, bus and tram, and the center is almost 10-15min away. The neighborhood is very quiet with a wide range of restaurants nearby. A super market is also very close to the location. If I ever visit Vienna again I will definitely choose to stay in Rainers Hotel!

there is nothing negative to report

It was a great and very comfy stay: Nice, spacious, and clean room; Stable and speedy Wi-Fi; Tiny tablet with Hotel's features and amenities; Good air-conditioner; Friendly and helpful personal in the reception; Very comfortable beds; Nice TV set - possible to connect smartphones; Coffee, tea, and water available in the room - is a nice touch.

Breakfast could've been more variable; Slippers were not available in the room, despite being listed in the room confirmation; These were minor issues which didn't spoil our very positive impression, and generally, it is a very nice hotel with modern touch everywhere.

Conveniently located near a train station. It is by a busy road but the windows successfully block all noise. Cozy room with a spacious bathroom.

The typical Austrian pillow - as flat as a pancake

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Rainers in Vienna. The hotel offers outstanding quality and exceptional value for money. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my visit. The breakfast buffet was diverse and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. The hotel's location is convenient, approximately a 20-minute walk from Vienna's central railway station, making it accessible for travelers. While I didn't utilize public transportation, I noticed that bus and tram stops were within walking distance, offering easy access to the city center. The room and bathroom appeared brand new, with high-quality furnishings, including fresh blankets, bedsheets, and towels. The modern amenities and cleanliness contributed to a comfortable and restful stay.

One consideration for guests with vehicles is the parking situation. The hotel offers secure parking at a rate of €17 per day. Due to this, I opted to return my rental car earlier than planned to avoid the additional expense.

Room is clean, equipped with refrigerator, water kettle, coffee, tea, and wine glasses! Complimentary a bottle of still water and a pack of waffles :) The washroom actually has a cloth line for hanging wet clothes. Very useful. They also have luggage storage room. The only problem was that the closest tram stop went out of service after our first day of stay... So one night we walked a stop away (15 mins) and the neighbourhood was relatively dark with little pedestrians. We later learned to take bus 14.

We arrived at the Central Station (Hbf) almost in the night and still it quite OK to go to the hotel by foot: the district was calm and quite. The cheapest room for 2 was spacious and with a bath so it was possible to soak after our travel. It was possible to make hot tea (2 teabags for free as well) and coffee (2 capsules but we did not use it). Light was arranged understandably and conveniently. There was also a small sofa and 2 puff-chairs under a table

The bed was composed out of 2 single beds and this could be clearly felt. For me this bed was the only disadvantage, I can not say it was really comfortable, but this is a matter of what you are used to.

Great breakfast options, very friendly staff, and clean rooms. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us Americans. The restaurant also had some great food options.

There wasn't anything specific that I didn't like; just a few things I wasn't accustomed to, such as the gym location, but that's a matter of personal preference. There was also no laundry service, but there are a few places in town where you can do laundry. Everything else was excellent.
