This was perfect! We stayed for 2 nights, arrived after midnight. The staff was really helpful, they helped carrying our suitcase and escorted us to the room. Forgot my ID and wallet at the reception, got everything back. The room was clean, so much space for us, not as in an ordinary hotel. Breakfast was good. The hotel is close to the hbf train station, it was easy to carry the 25kg suitcase there (even though I go the gym, it can be a nightmare to carry a large, heavy suitcase through the city, it wasn't thx to the location). Bathroom was great as well, water does not come out when you take a shower. The cleaning staff was kind as well. The bed was rrally comfortable. Highly recommended hotel!

The room was surprisingly huge and well-decorated, with a cute arch leading from the doorway to the sleeping area. Felt unexpectedly luxurious for the really affordable price! Shampoo, soap and towels were provided as well, and extras were given generously by the reception. Was not expecting breakfast to be provided but had a wonderful buffet breakfast with a range of spreads, cheeses and pastries that were so delicious! Explored the hotel and discovered a spacious recreation room with a giant hammock and reclining chairs facing the patio that was well-kept and empty. Also found a very clean gym with advanced facilities that was not heavily in use as well. The best thing was the free sauna that was open till 10pm, with very clean and well-decorated facilities: showers, extra towels, water cooler. Location was really good too, and I could walk from Wien Hbf to the hotel in a few minutes, and is generally accessible to all the usual tourist places with Vienna's great transport system. All in all, it was a place that kept exceeding expectations in every aspect and was by far the best 3-star hotel I've been to that I would say feels more like a 5-star hotel at a much affordable price. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

Nothing, it was a great place that exceeded expectations in all ways. The exterior may look a little lacking but do not be fooled by it, the stay was really enjoyable and we only wished we could stay longer to fully maximize all the free facilities they provide.

I stayed in the „newer” part, which was amazing. Loved everything about it - comfortable bed, big room, mini bar fridge, nice bathroom with a bath. Great private hotel parking garage, gated, just few meters from the hotel’s building. They even allowed us to leave a car at the parking lot for few hours after the check out, which we really appreciate! 👍 Nice, friendly and helpful hotel staff To be fair, only things I needed this time around were SAFE PARKING outside of the eco zone and comfortable room for a night, so I can’t say more about other facilities the hotel has to offer. I would stay again, but only in the newer part of the building

The location was within easy walking distance of the main train station (about 15 mins) and was also close to both tube & tram lines. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel & had an extremely quiet room, which was very spacious & comfortable. The continental breakfast was plentiful & varied. We also requested a kettle for our room, which was waiting there for us when we checked in.

The hotel was very busy with guests on a Sunday morning meaning the breakfast room was full. Having only one coffee machine led to a long queue for people wanting their caffeine hit. Perhaps another machine within the breakfast room would alleviate this. More a suggestion rather than a criticism.

Breakfast and the breakfast rooms were very good, with the usual cold cuts and cheeses. More kinds of cereal would have been welcome. The beds were nice and firm and the duvets etc very nice. Very large safe which, unfortunately, didn't work. Very good location, not so pretty but with good transport links to the palaces, the airport coaches and coach links to Slovakia. Trams and metro an excellent system for getting around of a 3-day rover ticket.

Our room was fine but slightly dowdy when compared with the public areas, which were much more modern. Our safe would not lock and it took 2 days to repair, by which time we had left. In favour, they dod offer to change our room to get a working safe, but it would have wasted too much time so we declined.

The hotel is well-located, with easy access to the subway and tram, and about a 15-minute walk from the main train station. I stayed in a Deluxe room in the newer building, which was spacious and comfortable. The fitness room is well-equipped, and the breakfast offered a good variety, including vegetarian options. Overall, a good choice with a very fair price-performance ratio.

There’s a ventilation system in the inner courtyard that can be heard at night, though it’s fine if you keep the windows closed. While the hotel is near the historic city center, the immediate area feels a bit run-down, and some people might not feel completely comfortable walking back late at night. Personally, I didn’t have any issues.

5 stars! Clean sheets, a spotless white bathroom, cleaning is done every day. Towels are changed every day. Breakfast is satisfying and diverse enough. A hotel above the 3 star category in European standards. The location is very close to public transportation, buses pass in front of the hotel, tram and metro pass 100 meters away. You can reach anywhere in the city in a maximum of 20 minutes. We were very pleased. We were very pleased with everything except 1 staff behavior. I will not give 5 stars due to the extremely rude and disturbing way the receptionist on duty spoke on January 11, 2025.

We informed the hotel that we would check out early and that we wanted to reserve a taxi before arriving there. When we went to the reception on January 11 to remind us of this, we were greeted with a meaningless negative attitude. I must say, everything was really perfect until that moment. Of course, this negativity left behind by Caroline Hotel, a hotel competing with 5-star facilities, is only related to that person. But I would like to note this. We would like to thank all the employees for everything except this unexpected rude and antipathetic approach. Caroline Hotel is a really good option.

The hotel is only 1 km from the main station, which is very convenient. There is a bus stop, a metro station and a tram platform near the hotel. I used the "O" tram, which connected to different parts of the city. The hotel was very good for a 3-star hotel. The room, except for slippers and a kettle, had almost everything. The breakfast, although the same every day, was varied and typical European: coffee/tea, croissants, various pastries, sausage, cheese, juices, Nutella, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

The Wi-Fi was quite weak and slow, there was no kettle or slippers in the room. The ventilation in the bathroom was poor.

From the outside, Hotel Caroline does not look particularly impressive, but the inside has been extensively remodelled, with the inclusion of a new section, and is very substantial. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was exceptionally spacious, well-maintained, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet provided a good selection of options. Hotel Caroline is not right in the centre of Vienna, but the city's public transport is so efficient, this hardly matter. For us, its location quite near Wien Hbf was important, as out arrival by train was latish, and our departure a few days later, was due to be quite early

There was nothing about the Hotel that we could find fault with

We expected one small room, but to our surprise there were 2 connected rooms, very spacious, the bathroom was spacious and everything was clean for children (3.5 and 5.5), ideal even in one room there was also a table for children's needs, everything was well prepared even with the request for one extra bed, we were surprised by the very good darkening. the children were in awe of this and immediately started to investigate what was where, and my son was most interested in the safe and the refrigerator, that he needed that too. The parking lot was only about 3 minutes from the hotel with enough space for a car. The hotel is older but very clean and I don't feel that it only had 3 stars, I think it deserves a much higher rating. In the vicinity of the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, there is a long promenade street full of shops, restaurants and bars. I noticed that there is also a very accessible city public transport, which will be appreciated especially by people who will not have a car. At breakfast, everyone can choose what they like and there was a great variety of products and everything was fresh, the hotel staff was available and gradually added the necessary products. I personally recommend visiting this hotel and many thanks to the staff and owner.

If I were to focus on the negative things, I would definitely find them, but I have no reason to look for these things, the hotel was very cozy and clean for us, and that is very important from my side and from my wife's side, I did not notice that there was anything unpleasant or even bad
