Amazing place, Eventhough I was working and most of the day was out and about in the evening really enjoyed in a noce room amd location. I like the style of my room. Staff is extremely nice polite and friendly. Simply love everything about this hotel.Will be back

The lights setup in the room was either too bright or almost completely dark. Nothing in between. A bit of an atmosphere lights would make place even better if that's possible. Not a deal breaker for sure. Just a nice detail maybe

The room was very big, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Everything looked clean. Having a cover for each person was nice. The location is near the subway and close to Vienna landmarks.

It was the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. It was very difficult to have a shower or use bathroom.

We had a great experience at Hotel Shermin! The location is excellent, just a short walk from the metro, 5 minutes to the Naschmarkt and 15 min to the city center. A lot of cafes an restaurants in the area. A supermarket around the corner. The room was spacious, the bed was big and super comfortable, and everything felt clean and quiet. Complimentary tea, coffee, lemonade, and cake available in the lobby - a small detail, but very welcome when you’re heading out early or coming back late. We arrived late at night, but check-in was super smooth - the hotel had sent us clear instructions in advance, and an envelope with the keys and all the info was waiting for us at the lobby desk. Really easy and hassle-free. All in all, a great base for exploring Vienna - calm, clean, and with a bit of personality. Would definitely stay here again.

A few minor things to be aware of: our window faced a wall, so not much of a view - though to be fair, we were out all day and only came back to sleep, so it didn’t really matter. The shower was a bit small, and our room didn’t have a desk or a surface for a laptop - which could be a downside if you plan to work during your stay.

Easy to check in. The room was cute with nice decorations. The entry procedures were easy to understand, even without staff working when we arrived. The room was clean and cozy. The honor bar was a nice touch. The stag antler chandelier and bench at the end of the bed were very charming. We all felt welcome!

More electrical outlets would have been nice, especially on both sides of the bed. The pillows look nice but they are deceiving because they are not comfortable. I understand they are the typical European pillows, but better pillows would be a nice addition. Also, the fridge was not cold.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the main attractions and Karlplatz metro station. It is extremely clean and everything is new and has a pleasant design. The beds were very comfortable and the linen fresh and spotless, the view to a nice little fountain was a pleasant surprise. The instructions for check-in were clear; plus our requests for information or concerns were immediately addressed. Everything was great. We highly recommend this place. We would definitely choose it for a second visit to Vienna.

The bathroom is indeed tiny.

The location was very convenient, just a 20-minute walk from the city center. The area was safe and clean. The interior design was beautiful, with great attention to the colors and high-quality furniture. The bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the service, and the availability of coffee, tea, and other refreshments.

There were a few shortcomings in the interior design. In 2 out of 3 cases, there were no power outlets near the bed (which is essential for travelers to charge their phones). Additionally, the toilet was positioned in a very awkward spot, leaving insufficient space to sit comfortably. However, these issues are merely design-related.

Very nice place, rooms were big enough and beds were comfy. The breakfast was excellent as they also provided made to order egg options (i.e. they would ask what you wanted such as fried or scrambled eggs and brought to your table) which was really nice. Location was pretty good with food options at your doorstep and pretty easy to get anywhere in town by foot and main subway/tram station maybe 3 minute walk away.

Parking. If you have a car, you need to go to parking garage nearby and the access and indications at this place are awful. This is not the fault of the B&B but it does make things more complicated as you also need to lug baggage around.

Saint Shermin is a charming and stylish place to stay in Vienna. The room was clean and comfortable, with enough space for 2 people. Aircon was a life saver as it was really hot when I was there. Hotel is on the 1st floor but there is a lift. Good selection of drinks available for purchase in the room and in the reception. Location wise it's near a university, but felt like a quieter part of town. It's an easy walk to Karlplatz and it's transport links., also Naschmarkt for places to eat and drink.

No complaints, but be aware some of the transport lines serving this area are currently unavailable (Sept 2024). One of the lights in the room was quite flickery which was annoying but I just used the others.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — just a 5-minute walk to the Vienna State Opera and all the main attractions. It’s very convenient for exploring the city on foot. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to keep us full for the day. Our room was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. A special bonus was the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom — a nice touch that made the stay even more pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

- Not convenient internet connection to WIFI (they use some special system to login after connection to WIFI but in my case I couldn't connect from my laptop at all, but can connect from mobile) - Not convenient wardrobe as for me (only if you plan to visit vienna for a long period of time ) - Havent own parking (BUT have communal parking garage on the street near - I payed 20 EUR for 48h)
