It was like a fairytale in real life since we stepped out of our taxi in front of the hotel. The breathtaking design and atmosphere felt truly imperial to us. The staff was very polite and service-oriented. Since it was our honeymoon, we appreciated that the hotel prepared us a warm welcome with roses, personal greetings, and a bottle of champagne with their signature dessert. The breakfast was the best I've ever had before in a hotel! Caviar, Champagne, and fresh strawberries say it all! The Imperial Bar is a fascinating facility by itself. Totally great choice made!
Unfortunately, the condition of the toilet in our room was very unpleasant and not suitable for a 5-star hotel. Yellow and grey stains were all over it- improvement is needed. A few times we even didn't have hot water to shower (not very early in the morning, and not late at night) Additionally, we twice had trouble accessing our room because of problematic inner locks on doors.

This was the first time, I stayed in here. Absolutely, i will stay here again after couple of months, probably for the christmas time. They upgraded my room without asking, Furthermore, they satisfied all my demands for the room. The reception and the concierge , they were all so kind and helpful. .Special thanks to Vanessa and İlker. By them, I never felt myself alone. They were so close and friendly. I m so happy to meet with them. The location is perfect, you can walk to center and touristical places easily. If you want to use common transport, the main station is 2 minutes by walk. They have a own desert which I bought, is delicious. I love the restaurant and bar also.

We stayed for two nights in the Elizabeth Suite as part of our honeymoon from Japan. The hotel is located right next to the Musikverein, offering excellent access to the city center. The lobby and hallways are luxurious, and just walking through them was a delight. Of course, the room was meticulously maintained, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive. Although we had only informed the hotel in advance that we were on our honeymoon, they prepared several unexpected surprises for us, which made our stay truly unforgettable. We timed our stay to coincide with the one-year anniversary of our wedding and had dinner at the on-site restaurant, Opus. Our server, Caroline, was incredibly friendly and made an effort to speak in a way we could understand, even though our English isn’t strong. She also selected wines that paired perfectly with the course meal, and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you very much. We also visited the café and bar, both of which had a great atmosphere and were very stylish. We weren't able to fully express our gratitude due to the language barrier, but it was the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. If we have another chance to visit Vienna, we would love to stay here again.
It’s true that the price is higher compared to other hotels. However, considering the quality of service and the unforgettable memories we gained, it was well worth it.

The breakfast was included in the price and there was a very good selection. Sometimes we had a champagne breakfast and sometimes we would ask the chef to cook us French toast. Whatever we had it was always superb! We had quite a few evening meals in the Hotel Imperial as the food there was exceptional. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the room was nice and quiet. The location was great too, just a short walk to the heart of Vienna City.
We liked everything regarding the Hotel. As for Vienna, we made the mistake of not purchasing a Vienna pass to see attractions further away. We found it wasn't so easy trying to find a taxi for return journeys.

We had an amazing stay at the Imperial. Selli, the receptionist, was kind and welcoming. Although we arrived slightly earlier than checking in time, she accommodated us and we also got an upgrade to the Sisi sweet. And while taking us to our room, she gave us a brief history about the hotel. Room service was excellent, beds were comfortable, and the fact of sleeping in a palace with a history that dates to 1886 was surreal! The location of the hotel is great just a minute away from the Muzikverein, 10 min from Stephansdom and 15 min from Cafe Central and Albertina Museum.
We did try the buffet breakfast, which I thought was overpriced. But I can not complain since it is the Imperial Hotel 😀

The building is magnificient, very well situated and everything is very well kept. The little chocolate in the evening was a nice touch.
It was much too hot inside, even after completely turning off the heating. We had to open the window for a while but had to close it again because it was -5°C outside... Very quickly the temperature crept up to above 20°C just from the surroundings. I am not a climate activist, I just cannot sleep well at night when it is too hot. Also, the pillows were not comfortable (way too big). What is the point of offering two pillows per person if they are identical. You should have one large pillow, and one small.

Great location on the Ring, right next to the Musikverein concert hall, near the U-bahn and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The hotel is a lovely historic building and our suite was very luxurious. We visited from London for the weekend for a wedding anniversary so had high hopes/expectations which were met in every way.
Breakfast was very good but expensive, so not particularly good value for money. If you want a hotel with every possible facility, e.g. a pool and a spa, then this isn't the right place.

First of all hotel is just beautiful! Comfortable rooms decorated so that you feel like you are back in the past of Vienna. Just a touch of tacky, but not really tacky. Location is great and service is perfect. Their signature cocktails in their bar are delightful and the bar itself is beautiful and really pleasant. My highest recommendation for their OPUS restaurant. Go for all of the courses and make sure to go for wine pairing, they know what they are doing. Restaurant maybe doesn’t look much, but food is on a really high level.
First downside was that TV is embedded inside a mirror. Looks great, but due to this it sounds just horrible. It’s so bad that you can’t really understand anything, so my daughter was a bit disappointed that she was not able to understand Elsa singling “Let it go”. Second thing was that they have double charged for the accommodation, and this is the only reason my mark is 9. Two times that I have booked a Marriott hotel with booking, two times this has happened.
