Had an amazing time at Homerhome. Mike and Carol are amazingly nice and easy to communicate with. The room and bathroom were nice and well appointed. I like all the electrical outlets in the room - too often I see places with just one or two, but this room must have had at least six available for use. Mike and Carol were great to talk to and gave me good recommendations for the area. Homerhome is located in a very safe and quiet area. The value for money spent is great here. Very comfortable stay for much less than the local, mid-tier hotels. If I’m ever back in Homer, I’ll be booking here again for sure.

We had a fantastic time at Homerhome. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to re-energize after a motorcycle ride from Anchorage. The views were beautiful, and the location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet a close ride to the center of Homer. The family of sandhill cranes in the backyard was a definitive plus. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, making check-in easy and the whole experience smooth. You can tell they put thought into the little details that make guests feel at home: towels, soap and shampoo, tissue, Q-Tips, etc. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Homer who wants a cozy, well-kept place to unwind after a day of adventure.

What a wonderful experience. Such nice hosts. They waited up for me to check in late. Offered me water before bed. Then offered me coffee and tea in the morning. Comfortable bed and pillows. Hot water in the shower. Good working wifi. Had shampoo and body wash in the shower. Beautiful views of the mountains on the outside deck off the kitchen. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Nothing bad about the property. But on Google maps and Booking.com app the point is slightly off on the next door neighbor to the north of the property. There is a little sign by the mailbox. If you don’t see the sign then you are in the wrong driveway.

Clean bedroom clean bathroom. We got our own bathroom...so that's awesome. And I don't know what kind of mattress they use but I slept like arock.

It was good. We were only there for maybe 12 hours total. But it worked for us. We would use them again. My partner would have enjoyed a t.v in the room but I like my bedrooms t.v free. So I was happy.

Carol and Mike are very hospitable hosts. They provide lots of information about things to see and do in the area and even invited me to a homemade dinner on one occasion. The setting is very nice and, being located in a relatively rural area, the rooms (at least the ones facing the Bay) are very quiet.

We did not eat at the home. The host was very warm and friendly. Told us about a few places to view the moose and the glaciers that were nearby. We had tea and coffee available to us. It was a shared area for the living and kitchen areas. The bathroom was small but clean.

Could have had a night light in the bathroom.

Mike and Carol were outstanding hosts. They were friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but it was quiet, clean and comfortable. The view from the home was excellent. We would definetly stay there again if we return.

This guesthouse is a really nice stop during Alaska travels. The hosts are incredibly accommodating. There is an unmatched view from the deck at the back of the guesthouse. Shared kitchen was a nice convenience. Very clean and well maintained property.

the room was very comfortable but the setting was amazing . a nice little farm with a yard and a small pond, fire pit in the back yard and the owners were the friendliest couple we have stayed with. everything was clean and fresh

the room was quite chilly as was the bathroom. we didn’t shower because of the chill, but the water was nice and warm to wash at the sink. and the bedding was very good for the chilly space. it wasn’t so bad as to be unable to sleep. just enough to make you want to hunker down under those nice soft blankets!

Carol and Mike are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Their lovely property is in a beautiful location overlooking the bay and affords easy access via a short drive to everything in Homer. I see no reason to stay anywhere else in Homer unless you want to be right on the Spit.
