This Hotel is just one block off the main road and that made it very quiet. For a building over 70 years old it was remodeled and was very up to date. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were very nice. So nice I fell asleep minutes after my head hit them. The restaurant next door has a great breakfast and is a locals place. Very friendly and great service.

I wish I could have stayed longer but my ferry ride back to Kodiak wouldn't wait for me.

It’s a simple hotel, but it had everything that I needed and it was nice that there was a table in the room. It was a very bright room with big windows. When I had issues with the cable, the front desk man was so nice and got it back on track for me. And because it’s in a good location, I was able to easily walk some places and it was an easy drive to the spit

Location was great as long as you're not looking for a view. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Price was reasonable.

Facility, while very clean, is somewhat dated. There was a communal coffee stand in lobby, but it would have been nicer in room. The TV was also lacking. The sound was terrible, but it was definitely not a deal breaker.

The hotel is an older building with very nice display of the history, which adds to its character. We found the rooms clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and provided an excellent dinner recommendation.

Because it is an older building there is no elevator. Plan on going up or down one flight of stairs, with your luaggage.

Was worried by low price and (at the time) low booking.com rating but was pleasantly surprised that my queen room was perfectly fine despite it being an old building. No strange smell, shower very strong, room fully equipped with fridge, even had a nice 2-direction window view. Staff was nice and gave us a way to return after closing hours.

Nice and clean room with decent beds. Friendly and responsive front desk staff. Good free coffee in the reception area. Easy to get in and out.

They had a washing machine but it cost a fortune to wash and dry one load!

Comfortable bed, the room was clean and we had a wonderful view with 3 large windows. I wish I could remember the front desk gals name, she was so friendly and sweet, remembered our details and made sure we were taken care of.

Not very soundproof, we could hear a lot of conversations and commotion from other rooms, but it was all still muffled

Good location and value. The bathrooms were updated and super clean. The building still has some old hotel charm. We thought it was a good option in Homer.

The curtains could be larger or block more light.

The property was very clean, quiet and surpassed the expectations. Mostly updated and nice for the price. Truly expected a lot less than what we got for the price. 10/10 recommend.

The toilet seat had no cover.

The guy at the front desk was helpful.

The bar/band next door. I guess i should have just gone over and partied with the crowd. There was not a lot of parking.
