This Hotel is just one block off the main road and that made it very quiet. For a building over 70 years old it was remodeled and was very up to date. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were very nice. So nice I fell asleep minutes after my head hit them. The restaurant next door has a great breakfast and is a locals place. Very friendly and great service.

I wish I could have stayed longer but my ferry ride back to Kodiak wouldn't wait for me.

Was worried by low price and (at the time) low booking.com rating but was pleasantly surprised that my queen room was perfectly fine despite it being an old building. No strange smell, shower very strong, room fully equipped with fridge, even had a nice 2-direction window view. Staff was nice and gave us a way to return after closing hours.

Comfortable bed, the room was clean and we had a wonderful view with 3 large windows. I wish I could remember the front desk gals name, she was so friendly and sweet, remembered our details and made sure we were taken care of.

Not very soundproof, we could hear a lot of conversations and commotion from other rooms, but it was all still muffled

Good location and value. The bathrooms were updated and super clean. The building still has some old hotel charm. We thought it was a good option in Homer.

The curtains could be larger or block more light.

The property was very clean, quiet and surpassed the expectations. Mostly updated and nice for the price. Truly expected a lot less than what we got for the price. 10/10 recommend.

Location was good, wifi worked very well, and I was very happy with the staff. No problems and a reasonably priced plae to stay in Homer. I would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Friendly staff. Although an old hotel the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The facility is a historic building, 100 years old, in the business district of Homer, and it is conveniently located near some good restaurants, coffee houses, and quirky stores. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

While this is an older hotel, they have done a good job on updates. It is a mix of new (fresh paint, fixtures, bedding and drapes and vintage. The bed was very comfortable and everything looked exceptionally clean.

They could improve the appearance from the parking lot where you can see into some rooms used for storage that don’t give you an inviting impression.

The room was newly redecorated. It was clean and comfortable.

The editor looks rough but don’t let it fool you.
