Luxury resort with a great beach and beautiful views combined with many (many!) eating options. The hotel is remote enough that during off-peak it can be a wonderful escape from the busy tourist areas while still getting to enjoy the island through the many activities offered within the resort.

This is a very 'Japanese' resort and can feel quite rigid to compared to western culture. Being 'told off' for wearing the pajamas provided in our room to go and buy a drink (not in a bar or the restaurants, literally to quickly buy a bottle of water within the resort itself at night) was surprising and unnecessary. There is also a small army of staff on hand at all times which begins to get annoying as you enter and leave the resort each day and have literally 6+ people all greeting you and bowing etc etc.

We truely enjoyed our stay at Busena Terrace. The facilities were excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and the various restaurants were very good. Our teenage daughters enjoyed both the indoor and outside pools and especially nice that these were closely connected. The location is superbly located as we appreciated being close to the beautiful nature of northern Okinawa. Also the setting was amazing with a gorgeous view of the bay and with evening sunset.

There was no service by the pool. I would have liked tea or soft drinks to be available for consumption by the pool but this was unfortunately not the case.

I spent 4 days at this wonderful true 5-star beachfront hotel .It faces probably the best beach on the island. Huge bedroom,strong aircon,comfortable bed,luxurious linens. Expansive public spaces. I had delightful swims daily in the South China Sea in front of the hotel.Calm.Occasional fish to be seen. Beach chairs and umbrellas available -free for hotel guests. There is a huge outdoor pool and a huge (heated)indoor pool. I ate exclusively in the buffet restaurant which overlooks the sea . Over 4 days,three meals a day,there was always enough variety to make eating there a pleasure. There are several specialty restaurants as well. Wifi signal was strong except during heavy downpours. Fast elevators .Reception was adequately staffed .Never saw a line there.

"Gym" has no weights or strength training machine,only 4-5 treadmills which in 4 days I never saw anyone use,probably because the scenic path between the hotel and beach is a better place to exercise. Restaurants had cow milk but no soy milk,which surprised me as I thought most Asians were lactose intolerant. I rented a bike from the hotel.Not much to see in the area.

The most amazing buffet every morning and then you have the choice to go for lunch as dinner as well (we tried it a couple times) and every meal is amazing. Beds are fantastic. TVs have Netflix so you can really cozy up if you want to stay in bed, and the beach views are magical. We laid by the pools or by the beach everyday and it was so relaxing. They also have mini golf and other activities that were fun.

I wish you could swim at any part of the beach, it just the blocked off zone.

The resort was beautiful and staff were super friendly and respectful. They also had a underwater viewing tower, and plenty of available activities within a few steps. If we knew, we would have booked a snorkel tour outside of the resort. Btw very beautiful if you love taking a stroll.

The food could have been hotter. We did notice that the fries and other foods were always either Luke warm or almost cold. They need a better way to keep the food hot at the buffet. The food tasted okay though.

The service and help from the staff was fantastic, the best I’ve ever had during my travels. From check-in to check-out, I received nothing but the best accommodation and compassion. The food from Mahae in the resort was not only delicious but was also a memorable, unique experience. I appreciated the activity counter where I could book activities (such as free diving) the morning of and props to teaching me step by step although I am not fluent in Japanese. The afternoon tea was bliss; enjoying refreshing tea and an assortment of tasty bites while overlooking the sea was a relaxing experience.

Room was spacious and well maintained. General hotel service, housekeeping in particular maintained an impeccable standard each day. Breakfast had many options for everyone's taste and was extremely delicious. The hotel's beach is great with one of the best snorkeling experiences we have ever had. There are many places around to go out for dinner.

Japanese breakfast was fantastic. Property location was great. The service was very attentive. Beds were very comfortable.

Piano Bar could have been better equipped to handle foreign drinkers. The service was disorganized and the staff did not understand simple drink requests. There should be poolside drink and meal service. Missed opportunity.

Ample choice of restaurants to meet all kinds of food experience, the fish restaurant being one of the best. Several activities on offer at different levels , you never get boring walking trough the resort. The sandy and clean beach was easily acceptable and very tidy every day. Before sleeping, the beds were prepared together with a brief on next days weather and a small chocolate completed the experience;-)

Nothing, everything was close to perfect.

The service was immaculate. From check in to check out, we were always taken care of from the friendly and attentive staff. The location was absolutely beautiful also.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, too hard. The teppanyaki was way overpriced in my opinion. We payed ¥60,000 for 2 people, the food was delicious but I felt like we could have been served more food for that price.
