Chateau De Aow was the perfect place to go Gigantes Island hopping as it’s only a few minutes walk to Bancal launch port. Likewise, Ceres bus terminal station to Iloilo City only is just a 5-minute walk. Ate Vema, the owner, and the 2 staff, Rimel & Baney were all really nice & accommodating. The grounds are beautifully surrounded by greenery. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. A/C was very good.

The bathroom’s hardwares could use some fixing, but manageable. Water isn’t potable for brushing. Town proper is a 2-ride or tricycle all the way. No culinary options but 7-11 in town or in bc Estancia, a 45-minute Jeepney ride and limited time with last ride back to town at 5 pm.

the location of Chateau De Aow was perfect for travellers going on an overnight trip to Gigantes Islands...a tricycle ride away from the port. But the best part of staying in Chateau was the warm accommodation and service of the owner and staff, very personalized. they allowed us to leave our luggages after checkout and headed to Gigantes with our backpacks only. the next day we dropped by to pick up our luggages. it was a very helpful gesture to accommodate our request for no fee at all. 😍🙂♥️

The staff were so thoughtful. We arrived in the evening and they really waited for us. They also asked us if we have already booked a tour and if we have transpo back to the city as we will not be able to catch the last bus from Carles due to the length of the Isla Gigantes tour. On the next day, they were so kind to assist us where to go and who to speak to. The property is just 2-minute walk from the terminal. We rode a Ceres bus to Bancal and followed google map, leading us to the property. It is also walking distance to Bancal port.

There were cats roaming below the tables while we were eating. I am just scared of them so I had to eat my breakfast fast.

I love how Nanay accommodated all my requests. Actually, I surprised my husband on his birthday during our first day, and Nanay helped with all the preparations. And it was a success, the foods that Nanay prepared are delicious and so much for us, so we still have foods left the next day, and they still served them. We really has a great time staying here. Thank you Nanay :)

The hosts were super helpful and the breakfast was tasty, I was there for one night before a 2N/3D Isla Gigantes trip and they let me store my luggage, I was there on a week-end and after settling in I was able to take a trike to town for the week-end night market to get some food and watch the kids play games. Walking distance to the port for island hopping.

I like the proximity of the place to the port where we meet up our group for the tour. The staff are very friendly and accomodating

Wifi isignal s not strong enough when u go to your room. Aircon is not that cold.

The place is close to the port and tourism area. The room is big, they have towels, a free breakfast, and the staff is really nice. They are responding to my messages since I asked them how to get there. They also let me leave my bag while I'm on island hopping since I can't check out on time.

It's summer and the aircon doesn't help. I think it's due to it's location from my bed. I can't feel much.

I loved how quiet and tranquil the place was, it was the perfect escape. The host was incredibly helpful and arranged my trip to Gigantes Island, which was incredible!

Cleanliness of the facility and the wifi connection is superb. The staff are very welcoming also and provided was with good service.

The rice in the free breakfast is OK but can be further improved.
