This was the most beautiful, “French” chateau. Our room was spacious with massively high ceilings, dual windows that opened to the front courtyard, comfortable double queen beds, a huge bathroom. The furnishings were colorful, inviting with mixed patterns and beautiful antique furniture in the midst of modern luxuries. We’d been traveling in 5 different cities and had the best sleep here! Additionally the free, comprehensive breakfast was offered in one of the lovely parlors on the main floor. Free parking in the front and the host allowed us, after checking out, to leave our car parked there for the afternoon while we sight-seed.

Breakfast was excellent, served on the terrace of the courtyard garden, lots of choices, fresh foods. The chateau/house/mansion was very impressive. it was equipped with air conditioning (very quiet), mini fridge. Parking in the courtyard was both simple and secure.

China cups for tea in the room rather than paper cups would have suited this excellent room better, as would automatically replenishing milk, sugar, and new paper cups every day.

What an intriguing place. Stephan, the proprietor was totally charming. The hotel was adorable, quirky, and full to the brim with character. Beds were comfortable (great bed linen) and our twin room was really spacious. I loved the time warp bathroom! I felt like I’d been transported back to the 60’s with the pink suite and marble. We loved it! Breakfast was simple continental fayre but delicious nonetheless and great value. The only downside was the evidence of the owner possibly being a smoker. There was no smoke or foul smell. It was impeccably clean, but I could smell the odour of cigarettes that had permeated throughout the furnishings. Apart from that, this place is a wonderful place e to stay AND the bonus of parking facilities!!!

Fabulous!!! Just what we needed after a long days travel. Stunning property, situated in the centre of town with a private car park, close to restaurants and shops. Beautifully decorated with taste and interesting antiques. Delightful host with good recommendations. Ate at an upmarket restaurant 2 minutes walk from the hotel gates. Rooms extremely comfortable with luxury bedding, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. I was very grateful for the large bath and had a much needed soak with lashings of hot water. Breakfast was above and beyond the usual continental. All in all a wonderful stay and will be staying again in the very near future. It was a last minute plan and I booked it from the airport as we were too tired for a long drive and I’m so glad we did.

The location was ideal and Stephen the host is lovely and helpful along with his adorable little french bulldog.....so cute x. He upgraded our room free of charge to a beautiful double fronted window room overlooking the front of the hotel for our 3 night stay and the decor is stunningly french. Deffinately recommend.

Well situated. Interesting historic throwback. Good modern bathroom.

Confusion over reception opening hours - had to phone when we arrived. Strange breakfast. Served cold, dry toasted rolls and cold croissants - also not at their best.

All the lovely little touches, the central location, the friendliness of the staff, very comfortable bed, great breakfast.

The owner met us as we arrived and was very helpful showing us the facilities and how to enter if we were late returning in the evening. The room was great and in the heat the AC was a great bonus. Breakfast could not have been better A great stay and hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

What a great place! Loved the atmosphere, the decor, and the friendliness of Stephen (our host). Bonus: he has an adorable dog named Ulysses who you'll fall in love with. The room was wonderful. The breakfast was good. The location was ideal for our visit.

The owner created a beautiful city hotel and he’s very friendly. All spaces in the hotel are beautifully decorated and the breakfast outside is very pleasant with nice weather. It is convenient to be able to park the car safely in the garden.
