Great location in the centre of Huelva, although both the hotel and the parking were a little difficult to find using Google Maps. Fortunately it wasn't busy with traffic/pedestrians when we arrived otherwise it could have been a problem. Room was nice and spacious although located at the back of the hotel so no views, however as we were only there a couple of nights - a week or so before Christmas - this wasn't an issue. Breakfast buffet very good with lots of choice. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Within easy walking distance of the main attractions, all flat walking. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

Getting to the hotel by car.

This is our second stay at Hotel Tartessos, a comfortable Hotel in the most convenient part of Huelva. We met with family who also stayed there and were able to leave our car in the Hotel's parking garage and walk to everything from the Hotel. All conveniences are within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again when visiting Huelva.

Breakfast was adequate.

The location is perfect for a city break. The street is very lively with lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk either way. The town centre isn’t too far either. The staff are very nice too. Welcoming,friendly and helpful.

Some areas are a bit tired looking. Although the bed was clean. Heavy rain meant we had to move rooms which was inconvenient but necessary. The staff were again helpful and we did receive a bottle of cava by way of compensation.

Central location and a fairly good breakfast. Comfortable room and large bathroom

Difficult to find if you are driving as the hotel is in a pedestrian area. You can only access the car park after you have checked in and the instructions for the car park are not clear. The place mats in the breakfast room were a bit grubby and there was no bar (that we could find).

Really clean, very central and the staff were all really welcoming friendly and spoke good English.

There was a small private outdoor space near the downstairs toilets but no seating which was a shame the same on the balcony outside the gym on the top floor. Maybe put a small table and a few chairs.

This was our first visit to Huelva and so with the difficulty of finding parking we booked the Hotel car park, which is not attached to the Hotel but a little further down the road. We were sent instructions for accessing the car parking garage which involved being given access to a pedestrian area. Once at the parking garage there was an intercom and the reception directed us to the Hotel about 100 yards or so up the road. The Hotel itself was very nice and in a such a prime location for walking the area and the many shops, restaurants and cafes. The streets around the hotel are mostly pedestrian and get very busy in the evenings with all the tapas restaurants and cafes and shops that stay open late. They have siesta in the pm and some of the shops open at 5pm again until 9pm. We really enjoyed our visit here and recommend the Tourist Board in the old Hotel Colon, beautiful gardens and lots of history. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was adequate and cost 13 euros per person. One thing I might mention is that they need to put pads on the bottom of the heavy chair legs to stop the constant scraping of chairs when people move about. But this is only a minor complaint. However, don't expect to get a lot of sleep on a Friday and Saturday night as the Spanish stay up until the early hours partying in the street.

Gloria facilitated in a kind and informative way. My bed was comfortable and I liked having a balcony. The location was great for food and bars and walking around the town. Lots of choice and fresh food for breakfast

As others have mentioned, it's time for a refresh in common areas.

Our room was quite small but that was partly because it contained an unusually large double bed, which seemed like a good trade-off. Using the hotel parking is recommended.

No real complaints. Something on the back of the parking garage door showing which direction to head in to walk to the hotel entrance would have been useful.

I like the location of a hotel the most because the guests can easily get to the center of the action - considering pubs, restaurants, shops with clothes and suvenirs. As well a bus station to Punta Umbria is approximatelly 12 min by walking.

I would be more comfortable having one big bed not a bed connected from 2 small beds for a couple.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Huelva. Normally we adjust our visit to coincide when the hotel has a reasonable rate. It is in the heart of town. Bars, restaurants and shops are at the doorstep. So much so, we ALWAYS ASK for a quiet room to the back of the building. There, we are assured a peaceful rest in a clean, comfortable bed and bathroom.

It can be tricky to find the hotel’s parking.
