The place isn't exactly like the photos, it's more dated and needs some TLC but this doesn't detract from the stay. The location is peaceful and accessible but I felt we needed a scooter as it was not walking distance to everything.

The room was absolutely lovely, it was very spacious and had a balcony, the bathroom was large too and everything was very clean, the air con worked very well too, we also like that they had extra blankets in the wardrobe and spare pillows as usually we like to sleep with 2 pillows and most of the time you only get 1 so that was a nice bonus. The bed was comfy and large and the wardrobe was also very large. We had fresh water and toilet paper given daily. It was also in a very quiet location to we slept well hearing the crickets etc rather than party goers and bar noise. There was also a lovely pool but we didn't use it as we didn't really have the time.

Not a negative- just a pointer, If you want to see around the local area you will need to hire a scooter or car as this hotel is on the outer edge of Ao Nang and not really walking distance of the Ao Nang beach front. The company that supplies the mopeds to this hotel dropped us off a moped which we ordered in the early evening on arrival, it was around 4pm and we got charged 2 full days from the rental company, which we was hoping we may have got a small amount of discount or charged 1.5 days instead as we was only popping down to the night market for some food on the night after a long travel day, but this was to do with the rental company and NOT to do with the hotel. Thank you for a absolute lovely stay🙂

I absolutely loved every minute of my 6 night stay at this resort. The name says it all Real Relax.😍 Breakfast was really good with several options. It's a family run resort and they really look after their clients. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and really welcomed. The pool was so lovely and I had it to myself most days. Fresh linen and towels were readily available. After a hectic few days in Chang Mai and Bangkok this was a very welcome change. I highly recommend it and would definitely go back.

Its a minor thing but I had to book a taxi or motorbike to get into the town as it was too far to walk. However this was inexpensive and not a huge issue.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. The bed was actually quite comfortable for Thailand! The room was surrounded by lush plants which I loved. The simple but yummy breakfast included was a bonus. I didn’t use the pool but it looked nice with beautiful trees surrounding it. I loved that it was away from the craziness of town and I could easily order a Grab/taxi to get in and out of town. They also offered to rent a scooter too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The only downside, which was totally out of anyone’s control, was there were are few really loud motorbikes that would speed down the road next to my room at night.

The host Payom absolutely makes this place. She is incredibly kind, helpful & generous. She does everything she can to ensure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. She helped us book an onward ferry. She also does a fantastic spread for breakfast! Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Shower was hot & good pressure. Cleaning provided daily. Pool & grounds very relaxing as the name suggests. Would definitely recommend this place for quiet, secluded getaway with excellent service.

The property is about 10 min drive to the main town area but we had no issues getting grabs. Payom was also kind enough to drop us into town more than once!

We book a two bedroom villa as we were travelling with kids. The house is simple but very clean, just beside the swimming pool, that has almost no one use it. So , it is like having a villa with private pool. The place is extremely quite, clean and confortable enough for a few days. The owner is extremely nice and the breakfast very good. It is quite fair for the price you pay and you feel beeing more in a home that in a hotel.

No aircon on the living room and the location, a few kilometers away from Ao Nang , requires to have a car or a motorcycle to move around. There are almost no places to eat on the surroundings and there is no restaurant at the property. However, if you have your own transportation vehicle is not a problem, as you reach Ao Nang in less than 10 minutes.

We stayed for almost 4 weeks and even spent Christmas at Real Relax with Phayom and Peter. We shared good laughs, amazing breakfast (we still miss the daily fruit platter) and even better memories. Phayom treated us like friends and we truly felt at home. The room was extremely clean and spacious. The resort feels like a calm jungle getaway - lucious greenery everywhere. The pool was so refreshing and you can even book a Thai massage right in your room if you’d like. We received water daily and got help booking tours etc. and the host was just incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful.

Not really a disadvantage, but just something to be mindful of: it’s not directly in the center of town. That means it’s more relaxing and quiet though - so we picked it for the location intentionally.

The property is a good 5km from the main centre. We didn't want to hire a motorbike and tuk tuks were erratic and expensive Grab worked really well for us when we ordered in advance

Great location outside the madness of Ao Nang. Very comfortable room with efficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Very clean. Pool is also excellent. For our inclusive breakfast we selected from an a la carte menu and it was lovely. Best of all are the smiles and attentiveness of the brilliant staff. Laundry was done on-site, quickly and at a very good price. Hard to fault, would stay again.

nice peaceful place, far from busy roads within little local houses and with palm plantation behind. Calm and friendly owners, pretty reliable wifi, blackout curtains. be aware that it barely anything is in walking distance, so you definitely have to have car or scooter in order to be comfortable with the location.
