The entire place feels like it is part of the natural environment, the rooms are simple but perfect, very comfortable beds, the shower is great, the view is amazing. They supplied natural mosquito repellent, two plug in raid dispensers if you are worried about it. I heard one mosquito and had zero bites. The pool is lovely and refreshing, the hotel is at the end of the main beach and is walkable to the main street in town. They supply towels and hand towels for use in the hotel. The AC and fan work well and are mostly not necessary as it's mostly in the shade until later in the day. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The drains in the bathroom have clear plastic covers over them, you don't really see them and will cause the water to flood, just move them when showering and put them back after.

Wonderful stay at Cocos Hotel. Although it is a bit far from the main restaurants and amenities of Zipolite (20min walk along the beach or 30 taking roads), the flip side is the area is super quiet and next to the magical Playa del Amour. The green walls and thatched roof of the hotel blended with the greenery really made the view from the balcony and lounging at the pool extra special. Staff were helpful and friendly, and housekeeping always made the room spotless. Would absolutely recommend for a romantic quiet getaway.

No real complaints here as the stay was absolutely perfect! But if I had to suggest some super minor things to enhance the stay I'd recommend adding a bit more shelving for clothing storage, a second balcony chair and broom in the room (sandy floors are the worst!).

The location of Cocos Hotel is the absolute best, private access to the beach, quiet location away from the main bit of Zipo, but not too far away. The decor and style of this place is amazing. You feel like you are sleeping in the best tree house! The rooms were cool and the bed very comfy, we slept really well here! Shower was great. Fresh water supplied with each room clean, and some mosquito repellent plugs and lotion was also a really nice and kind touch (although we didn't really find mosquitos much of a problem). Staff were really friendly.

The roof is made from palm leaves, and so sound travelling between rooms is pretty obvious. But all of our neighbours seemed very respectful and quiet. This place has a relaxed, calm vibe, and I think everyone is on board with that when they come. The wifi is patchy, but really, who cares, this place is great, get off your phone, go and enjoy the sea, the sun and the fresh coconuts!

I liked the common areas, the fact that’s surrounded by nature and the friendly staff, they helped me when I needed it. It’s very close to the beach and the main road.

It’s a bit far from the center of Zipolite, but it also makes it have a great location away from the noise.

Cocos Hotel is directly adjacent to Playa Del Amor. If you’re coming primarily to spend time at this beach, the location is perfect. Most of the good restaurants are at the far other end of the beach - it's not a huge distance, maybe a half mile walk on the beach. The BEST thing about Cocos is that it is far enough away from the clubs that you can only just barely hear the thump, thump, thump of the base. The staff were pleasant and the housekeeping team was very efficient. I was very happy to have my own room with A/C and not be in the dorms.

The beds are a bit firm and it would be nice to have more than 2 pillows in the room and maybe a blanket for the bed.

Really pretty location with a lot of green, a nice pool, and just a couple hundred meters from the beautiful beach. Rooms get cleaned daily and are very neat. Airco+fan work wonders!

The rooms are a little noisy, and the (otherwise lovely) staff works late at night and early in the morning which sometimes disturbed our sleep. We woke up multiple times because the staff was loudly watering the plants late at night or making noise while cleaning rooms early in the morning.

The rooms only have a fan. It can be very hot at night and difficult to fall asleep. Your stay will depend on the quality of your neighbours. There is NO sound isolation with adjacent rooms. Our neighbours returned at 3 am and were showering, quietly chatting and playing music, but it woke us up thinking someone was in our room! It’s extremely loud. I recommend bringing earplugs

The place itself is nice, everything very good quality (beds, house, shower etc.). The pool looks nice and is cleaned on a daily basis. Super close to the beach - just a bit far from the village itself

Room had no proper curtains, it did get very bright in the morning. Wifi was spotty. During the second night some people next door were banging wildly, have never heard anything like it. Def not the owners' fault but it did certainly lower our experience.

We love this amazing hotel in Zipilite. It was our first time and this space was wonderfull. Location is nice, you could walk to the beach and the pool is very refreshing. Staff is super cool.

Everything was ok, i just would suggest to have a food service. The hotel is sourronded by many resturants, but sometimea you could enjoy the pool and spend time in the hotel, it would be perfect if you could order food and drinks.

The design is great. We love that is simple but has everything you could need. Staff is very friendly, the Manager is always around and willing to help when you need any assistance. WE LOVED THE POOL. Have in mind this is not a nude optional hotel.

Internet is not the best but we don’t expect to have same internet speed as the big cities. Also sometimes there was a sewage smell coming from the drains, that could be fixed with some odour traps.
