At this property I managed to do 8 hour days on my computer in the lobby. I had fast access to water in the fridge, and the host makes a nice coffee. The host was there most of the time when I needed her support with some logistics, and her English is really good. The room and restroom area are what I expected for the price I paid. Additionally the people there were all nice, and I got to play some of the board games in the lobby.

There were a few insects in the room, but that’s super minor because they weren’t harmful. Also, towels weren’t already provided, so you had to pay a few rmb to rent one. But other than that it was a great experience and I would do it again any day after I graduate.

I like everything about this hostel, and felt very welcome by Claire (Zhangxuan). She was the nicest and most helpful person I came across in my travels in China. We had great conversations, very enriching for my Chinese experience. I booked a single room which was clean and comfortable, great bed, I slept very well. The location is also easy to find and perfect to explore Suzhou. I had great breakfast there too. I would definitely come back and recommend it. Also love the sweet dog, Kali.

The location was excellent, near to some tourist sites, and quite near the metro. The manageress was very nice and extremely busy, checking in, cooking and acting as barmaid. Her dog was lovely. The food and drinks were all very reasonably priced. The common area was very nice, and I can imagine if there had been more guests, would have been a great place to hang out. The aircon in the room worked well.

There was a toilet smell in the room. Either it improved over my stay, or I got used to it, but I found keeping the bathroom door closed helped a lot. There was no banister to the first floor and the stairs were quite steep. There was only one working bulb in my room. It provided enough light and you could sit right under it to read, but more light would have been nice, and a bedside lamp.

Everything was exceptional! From the customer service at the time of booking to the stay itself. From the very beginning, Claire helped me with information on how to get to the place, even coming from another city. She was always available from the moment of reservation until the end of the stay. The place is amazing and very well-equipped! Quiet, charming, safe, and located in a beautiful area, perfect for exploring both day and night. I highly recommend it to everyone!

It's a very accessible location, near the train station, and a walkable distance to Pingjiang St. - it's also near to local food shops. Rooms are on the third floor, quite near to toilets and showers. They provide slippers, hangers etc. There's a friendly dog waiting for you in the lobby ; she's an excellent staff, helping show us to our room! (Beware for those averse to dogs however.)

Though they provide hangers, there aren't many places to hang from in the room itself.

The location is at the center of Suzhou's old town section with most of the cultural attractions, gardens, and museums are within its proximity. Convenient stores, restaurants and boutiques are also nearby. The hosts are very accommodating and hospitable. The breakfast selections they provide are tummy-filling. Over-all, it's great value for your money and our stay has truly been memorable. We'd gladly come back and stay on our next visit.

The rooms may be small for other travelers but it has the basic amenities, clean and comfortable which still worked well for our family.

The lovation is perfect. The owner’s dog is wonderful. I felt very comfortable there.

The female dorm was a little chilly (in the coldest minggu of winter) but I chose the bunk by the AC Unit and I was very warm.

Great, kind and helpful stuff, incl. their little dog. Amazing location, close to the subway station, food market and the historical area of Suzhou. Reasonably clean. Fast WiFi.

Only one light in the whole room, it would be great if each bunk bed would have its own little lamp. No curtains on the bed for privacy.

Nice little family-business place in the centre. Receptionist speaks fluent English which is a big deal in Suzhou. And the beds actualy have curtains

Staff is great and speaks good English. Cozy lobby with board games and cute dog. Breakfast is sold in mornings and beer at night. Location is near the metro.

The building is old. That means the bathroom stalls are small and used for squat toilets . If you can't use them, they retrofitted a sitting toilet but it'll be a tight squeeze. But if you're used to east Asia, there's not really many negatives.
