The Ombak resort is located in probably one of the most remote areas in Lombok with only some small towns close by BUT that is exactly why we came. The staff is amazing and the host Tallon is born to make people feel at home and at ease. The food was amazing and to a really good price. We loved the quietness of the resort. They organise massages and Snorcling trips and for surfers they have a boat going out twice a day. We came to Kite surf which was a 20-30min scooter ride away but that did not matter to us because the ride went over the beautiful island. And the spot is amazing.

We really liked the welcome and warm family atmosphere there, all the team was fantastic. Clean rooms, no major surrounding noise and good spot for the surfers for the 2 times / day sessions. No crowd around, really liked thie peacful atmosphere. Food was very good, (some portions could be a bit more generous (like the pasta for example)

It's pretty normal in remote areas that all the menu list is not available, but they would need to mention what's not availalble before each order, avoiding the waiter to come back sometime 3 times to change it. The area is pretty remote, nothing much to do around, very good to relax, surf and disconnect, maybe not the right spot to explore Lombok from here (just mentioning it, it was not our goal).

We had a wonderful week at Ombak! Tim, Lee-Anne and Talon we‘re so so friendly and lovely. We could ask them everything and everytime. The stuff also was so friendly and respectful. The food was more than good!!! Especially the Indonesian food was great! Tim helped us with searching for the right surf boards and drove us to the beach 🏄🏽‍♀️ it was a lot of fun! (Two times a day) Feels like a five star resort. We felt so comfortable the whole time. Thanks for everything guys ✨🤍☀️

Lee-ann and Tim are great hosts with well trained friendly staff and they do everything in their power to make all things go smoothly (only thing is - they can't organise the waves too 😂 but Tim does choose the best time according to the tides for the surf boat to go out twice a day). Small improvements that will make the stay even better: The water fountain in the dining room can be replaced by a cooler, this will be really nice for us tourists that are not used to the constant heat. When full included breakfast (7-10am) is missed due to surfing it will be great if a couple of boiled eggs can be made available for each surfer. It is hard to survive on toast and fruit after a 2hr morning surf session.

The room can be cleaner, spider webs and dust in the corners and cornices of the room need a thorough cleaning, some shelves were dusty.

Our stay at Ombak was so lovely! The owners, Leanne and Tim, and their staff (especially Pen) made our visit so memorable and provided fantastic service throughout our stay. The rooms and gardens are beautifully designed, blending luxury with local charm, and you can tell every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort and relaxation. We loved the remote location and of course the incredible surfing ….and the daily massages’ from Man (or twice-daily 😜) will heal your body and mind!!! Ideal place for surfers as everything is taken care of . We were not surfing and found the area too remote and quiet. We took our motorbikes and went around but it was all really far. The beaches around are beautiful though. It too rough to swim . We met lovely people at the resort from all Over the world which made our stay very memorable

Maybe the fact that there was no fish or prawn served at the restaurant. We ended up eating at Febys accross the road

Ombak Resort is a little paradise in Ekas! My husband and I stayed for over 2 weeks (extending our trip) to surf. Tim & Leeann are lovely hosts who took great care of us, and their staff is fabulous as well. We stayed in a few rooms and they were all very comfortable, while simple, with good AC & WiFi. We loved the pool, the grounds and the restaurant/lounge which has some views and a great breeze. The food was great as well. Tim has a variety of boards to rent and the boat goes out twice per day. Ombak has everything you need for a surf trip to Ekas or just a quiet stay in a remote village on Lombok. The value is fabulous and we would definitely stay again.

What a find! Breakfast included and daily trips to most beautiful surf spots was an absolute blast! No need to worry about surfboards or figuring out how to get to certain locations. Tim has got you and will drop you off at best times. Tons of boards to choose from too! Lovely surroundings with pool and breeze with great choices for breakfast and food during the day (Check Feby’s next door!). Lee Anne and the whole team was extremely helpful and made the stay extra special! 🙏🏼

Nice vibe. Great music (no boom boom shit) in the bar/resto. Tasty food. Very friendly stuff. Somehow all the guests staying there were, above average, nice, interesting and good-loking too... Tastefully decorated and clean rooms. Top surf material. Nice long reefbreak nearby that you can get a free (and fun) car&boat-transportation to directly by the resort, twice a day. Banging massage. Quiet at night.

The surfspot can get quiet crowded, especially in the mornings - but the sunset sessions always made up for that :)

if you surf on Ekas inside, you can't really beat that location, and the service for bringing you on waves is outstanding. Good choice of boards, with good advice from the master of the place. nice choice of breakfast, with a few explicit gluten free options, not frequent on Lombok. Beautiful chill set up, with many cute little seating areas. good vibes. Good wifi (not always granted on Lombok)
