Gorgeous stay at Lu Cuccumiau. Giovanni and Lamberto are amazing guests. Everything is looked after, the room is super cute, they make it up when you're away, the breakfast is amazing, served on your private table in front of the pool everyday. They even made little cakes for my wife's birthday. Room is very nice, big bathroom with labeled towels, comfy beds, lots of space. Do not fear the dirt road leading you there, it is fine. You're even greeted with loving cats and the myth, the legend, the one and only Rino, the house donkey who's pulling stunts all day ! Overall a great place with great vibes if you want to stay away from the noise and enjoy a relaxing home with a breathtaking view !

Lu Cuccumiau is ideal for all those who appreciate nature and tranquility. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. I slept like a baby thanks to the quality of the bedding and the silence during the night. The owners were lovely, and greeted us with a warm welcome despite arriving at 23h30 owing to a delay in our flight and complications with the car rental. The breakfast is amazing with a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, cereal etc We will definitely return if we come back to Sardinia

Yes the road leading to the property can be a challenge, especially if you arrive at night, but we had a small rented car and it was fine, and we got used to it after 24 hours

The property is absolutely stunning between the views, the pool and the charming traditional decor. The owners are incredibly kind and do all they can to make your stay magical. The breakfast is impeccable and wonderful to eat with the views. And many cute animals on the property as well!

It's not easy to get to, so I wouldn't recommend for nervous drivers. However, that was the case for us and we are very happy we stayed! There are a lot of wasps which made eating outside difficult, but the owners were always ready with their smoking coffee grounds to help turn them away.

A lovely peacefull hillside location. true tranquility. Giovanni and Lamberto are great hosts . We booked a delux double room which was very clean and comfortable if on the small side . Would have been great to have access to hot drinks ( tea or coffee machine ) early morning and evening as there is no communal area . The vue fron our room was fab . Our breakfast each morning was excellent especially the local Riccotta Cheese, Honey and filled rolls . Did not use the swinming pool due to the cooler weather past few days. Our only real criticism is the condition of the 2.5km access dirt track Thisn is NOT suitable for a normal family car. best tackled in a 4x4 or similar. This track in my opinion ( steep in parts ) is dangerous especially in the evening and especially if raining or wet. its very rutted and narrow difficult to pass. The tricky access should be made clearer in the description of property facilities . Still a great place as a base to visit archeological sites if you enjoy peacfull rural location

Run by a couple of lovely guys - the place was very welcoming. Our room was of a high standard.

Just one word of caution- IF DRIVING YOU WILL BENEFIT FROM A SOLID CAR PREFERABLY 4X4 - the last leg of the journey is through an unmade road. SET GOOGLE MAPS TO TAKE YOU TO ARZACHENA, ONCE THERE THEN SET THE HOTEL ADDRESS IN MAPS TO TAKE YOU TO THE PROPERTY. ALSO ARRIVE IN DAYLIGHT - That unmade road is not lit.

It was so quiet and peaceful. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was incredible. The beds were super comfy and the rooms themselves were really nicely decorated. The cats were adorable! Make sure you follow Giovanni’s advice on getting the google maps directions once you have reached Arzachena. It will prevent you from getting to the B&B on the unmade dirt track and will instead lead you there by a much shorter and better made dirt road just off of the main road. Great location for reaching Palau to explore La Maddalena archipelago. Around 20-25 mins away. A car is definitely required. Thank you for a great stay!

Road to apartment is awful, through the hills and full of holes, I really had to take care to don't damage the car (Fiat Panda, with bigger car it shouldn't be the issue). Swimming pool wasn't available, it could be mentioned in description it isn't filled in April

Absolutely everything has exceeded our expectations! From the peaceful location to the superb attention to the detail. The swimming pool is surrounded by the picturesque view, the rooms are furnished with antiques and the breakfast was very generous! The hosts are very lovely and welcoming.

We loved the peaceful and quiet location!! The view from the room and from the breakfast table was amazing… Arzachena is a lovely town, for us one of the most glamorous in Sardegna.

The old furniture was little stuffy and there was a lot of dust on the furniture, but it wasn’t a problem… What a pity, the pool was so cold because is beautiful! The breakfast was ok, but for us too sweet!
