My booking got mixed up through a fault by Booking.com so I stood rather helpless in the foyer of the hotel without a room for the night. A helpful lady got out of bed and drove 20 minutes to the hotel to help me out. The hotel was almost totally booked out, but I got the last one without cost! This service is exceptional.

I called the hotel to ask if it was ok to bring my dog. It was. But the lady on the phone didn't make a notice about it to my reservation. That led to some confusion. But all in all I have nothing to complain about and I'm more than happy with the service.

The location is generally excellent, not far from usual shops, main through roads. Breakfast excellent, personal preference for more fresh greens in the buffet selection; lettuce, peas, capsicum. Add carrots, taboulli, some things light and refreshing for Summer season.

Smoking area right outside rear door... and so the second hand smoke goes straight up into room windows. This area could be reconfigured to at least deter smoking somehow, if it cannot be outright banned... yet.

Conscious choice if you travel by car from Travemunde, just to stay for the night. Spacious room. Nice breakfast.

It’s subjective experience: too soft mattress, my back didn’t feel rest after night. Pillows are like liquid and didn’t give any neck support. Lots of noise from the street early morning, it was too hot in the room so it was not possible to close the windows (tho with windows closed noise was still heard).

Booked an ensuite room and thought room spacius and slept well, traffic did not disturb me. Easy parking right outside. Kind staff. Breakfast was fine with a varity that satisfied my needs. Easy access to autobahn and not far from ferries to Denmark and thus a good value stay outside Lubeck.

Room 31, rather small, same as bathroom, no space to position toiletries. Breakfast really ok, except having to use plastic bowls for yoghurt/muesli, this is really a downer! I understand you use plastic bowls for children, but not for adult guests, this is small cost, so please change.

Sweets and water bottles on arrival, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff in the breakfast room and reception at the hotel. Spacious rooms.

Not as friendly staff on phone before arrival. Some traffic and pedestrians right outside the window on street level, no problem though during the night with an open window and ear plugs. Armchairs would benefit from a hand protection or deep cleaning in an otherwise clean room.

Very clean. Comfy beds. Great shower pressure. Bottled water in the room. Friendly staff. Restaurants within easy walking distance. Free parking. Great breakfast.

Comfortable and very clean hotel just a few minutes off the A1. Very flexible self-check-in for those who arrive a bit later (the check-in desk closes at 8PM). We stayed in a family room, which was really spacious, clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast included in the room price.

Convenient location on my way to Denmark and Sweden. Clean room, good shower. Helpful staff. Good wifi.

No lift, but the woman at the desk kindly carried my suitcase to the third floor.

Good location when you are on the long way from Sweden to south Europe. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast from 6 to 10. Very friendly staff.

The road next in 10 min to the hotel was closed because of construction, so we needed to go another way which was two times longer, but is was not such a big problem
