Very clean room. Spacious enough for one night. Very comfortable pillows. Friendly staff. Map supplied to and instructions give to take get into the main town. It is about 30minutes walk. Only a well located for access off the D840 and N88 roundabout. It is good variety of breakfast served. However, there are 4 restaurants - Courtepaille and MacDonald's in the same parking area as the Ibis and 200m away there is an Asian fusion restaurant. There is also a brasserie next to the Asian restaurant which has done a deal with the Ibis for a €17 3 course menu with choices which we found to be excellent.

You get pretty much the same thing at every Ibis. Simple, comfortable, clean rooms. However what is also consistent, and really quite impressive, is the quality of staff. Always friendly, always helpful and kind. Rodez is no exception.

The staff is very helpful. They helped us with a taxi issue at the airport. And gave us a lot of tips to visit the town.

The area isn't the best one. But nothing really bad, it just wasn't in the city centre.

Directions as to finding hotel. It is extremely difficult to find. Just the words behind McDonalds would have made all the difference.

Everything was great, and it was really good that we could have e room relatively early. We we in Rodez for medical reasons.

There were two areas that were not so clean: the sheet on the upper bed was dusty and there was a nail on the bed; second area under the big bed there was a lot of fluff, clearly had not been vacuumed recently.

The breakfast & the cleanliness

The entry code to get inside not make clear until I arrived. Would have been better to include the procedure when the booking was confirmed. This use of an entry code not used in some counties so not familiar.

Good modern hotel on the outskirts of Rodez. Convenient restaurants nearby. Easy access to town centre and airport.
