I only stayed for one night, but everything was truly wonderful. The facilities were clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering all the comfort I needed for a relaxing stay. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff — everyone greeted me with a smile and made me feel at home right away. Their friendliness and professionalism left a lasting impression. Even though my visit was short, I could tell that the hotel takes great care in creating a pleasant experience for guests. I would definitely love to come back for a longer stay in the future. Highly recommended!

Renovation Update

Staff was friendly and remembered us the next day after check-in. Breakfast was delicious - better on the weekdays when it's made to order instead of the weekend buffet. Check-in and check-out was simple and fast. Bedroom area was meticulously clean.

Facilities were outdated. The interiors look straight out of the 70s with dull browns, greens, and stripes. Bathrooms need to be re-caulked and had mold and mildew in the cracks. I would not recommend for children too young to take a shower standing up.

The staff was respectful, polite, and professional from our check in until our departure. I accidentally demagnetized my key card and went to the front desk to have it rescanned. I was preoccupied with thoughts of family plans and a bit overwhelmed. The gentleman at the front desk asked for my identification before accepting the card for rekeying. I was momentarily confused as to why this was necessary. It took a couple of seconds to realize he was protecting me and my room. I was so thankful and relieved that, at that moment, this staff member was looking out for me and mine. Even when I was lost in other thoughts, they had my security front and center! The food offerings from the bar were delicious. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, diverse and offered a lot of healthy options. The privacy afforded was exceptional. The Hilton Garden Inn was clean, comfortable , and quiet. I will recommend it to my family and will return when I visit Frederick. ❤️

There was NOTHING I didn't like. Perhaps a modern facelift for the paint colors on the room doors.. They are currently painted dark brown. A bit heavy looking, outdated. This was so easily overlooked with all the other wonderful amenities.

The shower dial Rm 325 was too tight to turn and the faucet had a continuous stream of water that I could not turn off. The shower faucet leak was reported to maintainence for repair.

Staff was exceptional, Antoinette was so helpful and accommodating. When booking thru Booking.com said breakfast included. Wasn’t when we got there. Could not get in touch with Booking.com to have them help, so she made it work for us and we really appreciated her friendliness and help. Food was very good for breakfast. Rooms very nice, roomy, and clean.

The location is perfect for our stay - easily accessible and easy to locate. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the lobby has plenty of spaces to gather and wait, or to enjoy breakfast. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and I liked the grab and go options at the front. Our room was comfortable and clean. Parking was plentiful and free.

One guest had a yappy dog with them, which disturbed us at night, but it went quiet before I got irritated enough to call the front desk.

Hotel cleanliness, staff were excellent. Breakfast selection was very good. Location to downtown Frederick and main highways was good. Close proximity to restaurants and shopping/business district. Property well marked and well-lit.

Rate was higher than expected, but probably appropriate for area.

It was extremely clean and staff was so kind. The pool was broken but they told us about their sister hotel one mile down. They were extremely welcoming and gave us a key card for their pool. They were able to give us late checkout also.

You had to pay for breakfast which looked like what would be a free breakfast at other places.

Breakfast was great. View was fine. We liked being able to see our car from our window.

I didn't like the wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap. I like to take tub baths and these were barely accessible when sitting in the tub. Fortunately, small bottles of shampoo and conditioner were also supplied, but not bath gel. Also, the toilet tissue holders on the wall next to the toilet kept popping open, which we both disliked.

The breakfast was awesome so good made to order worth the price. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I interacted most with Nicole at the lobby and then lashae in the morning at the lobby both were super friendly and helpful.

I was very disappointed that the hot tub was not available for use. We had a couple ants in our room even though it looked very clean. And the other disappointment was channel selection on tv surprised it was not smart tv where guests can log into their streaming options.
