The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, directly adjacent to the church. The room is well-maintained and offers a comfortable, homely atmosphere. The hotel owner is very friendly, and in particular, the hostess demonstrates exceptional dedication and hospitality. She is warm, sincere, and consistently provides guests with valuable information and assistance. Parking is available at the Am Dom parking lot located 200 meters away, at a rate of 10 euros for 24 hours; alternatively, a weekly parking ticket costs 58 euros. Street parking is also an option nearby. The hotel provides a generous breakfast, including coffee, various cheeses, vegetables, and a selection of beverages. The hostess is diligent and attentive, working tirelessly from morning to night to ensure guests are well taken care of. During my one-week stay, I was offered two fried eggs each morning. My room faced the church, offering a pleasant view, and was exceptionally quiet once the window was closed, ensuring an undisturbed stay. The single room is modest in size but sufficient for solo travelers. It is equipped with a refrigerator and an air conditioner. Although I did not use the air conditioner during my stay, it is a valuable amenity during periods of high temperature. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation.

The first thing we noticed was how super clean the hotel was, everything was spotless in our room! Very friendly staff, we felt welcome with both our young kids (3 and 1). The beds were nice and firm, breakfast was elaborate, and the coffee was good. Would definitely visit again in the future.

Just a very minor downside, in a family room you have to go through the kids bedroom to visit the bathroom. There is no better option as you also wouldn’t want the kids near the front door. This means you have to sneak to visit the bathroom when the kids are sleeping.

Although the Kriemhilde Hotel is in the center of the city, which makes it very convenient, there is no street noise to disturb the visitor. The room was fine, and the breakfast buffet was very appealing. The couple who own the hotel were very kind and friendly, especially as I had to call and explain that because of a flight delay and lost luggage at Frankfort Airport, we might arrive quite late. We also needed a pair of pliers when we arrived, to deal with a broken luggage lock, and they were produced immediately! Also, the gentleman helped carry our bags and when we requested a taxi, one was called immediately.

The location is exceptional for seeing the old center. The hosts are also exceptional in helpfulness, and it is spotless. Also a really strong buffet breakfast.

The center quiets down at night, but can be rather loud in the early evening. We spent the 5 Euro extra for air conditioning and were very happy to do it on our hot evenings to skip the noise, drifting cigarette smoke, and occasional fly or mosquito.

The breakfast was great but our hostess (perhaps the owner?) went way above and beyond to make us comfortable - helped adjust our radiators, brought us a kettle and tea to our room, and cooked us delicious eggs to order in addition to the nice breakfast spread provided.

Washcloths would be nice to include with the towels. No lift - if this was mentioned somewhere we missed it.

Receptionist was so pleasant and helpful in advising about room, restaurants, parking, and sights. Short walk to Luther Monument. Excellent breakfast with farm fresh eggs with good selection breads and conduments

After dropping luggage the parking is 3 blocks away. No elevator so not recommend for large suitcases.

Very nice hotel, spotlessly clean and well located. Very nice room on 3rd floor with separate seating area. Good firm beds. Very helpful staff with good language skills. Stored our bicycles securely in the courtyard. Air con available at a small cost. Nice breakfast.

It’s a small personal hotel which is very quiet, it’s in a perfect location 10min walk from the stations and directly next to the dome. The rooms have everything you need. . Breakfast was just amazing

Nothing at all, this was the perfect little stopover for me. I have no criticism whatsoever (for info the dome bells don’t chime at night).

Perfect location near the cathedral and all the key sights. Room was comfortable and I especially appreciated the air conditioning; view from the room was lovely. Nice breakfast. The host was especially kind and helped me with my bike on this tour.

Basic clean accommodation

Breakfast was brilliant and we admired the lady who did a wonderful one-woman job there every day. Location was perfect. The floors in the rooms would do with a wet cloth once in a while, they do get hoovered daily but a wet cloth makes all the difference.
